Did you really do it on your wedding night?

I don't think I can look sexy under 2 layers of spanx, drinking since 12pm and a day of full on make up and hair lol

Pregnant and feeling sick and took so long to get hair down and make up off by the time I'd got in the shower dh was snoring his head off after a few too many pints 😂

Yes, it was lovely. And the next day I woke up to shoes kicked off across the bedroom, dress flung over the back of a chair, massive glass of water by the bed, and a slightly hungover husband beside me. It was like I’d had a really good night out, but weddingy ❤️

No we went to bed at 3.00 am ordered a platter of sandwiches and some bottled water, the unspoken plan was to do so, but we fell asleep. Still together thirty one years later…..

Yes, we did. We were glad to finally be on our own after the chaos of the day. We had a few giggles as we'd had a fair bit of champagne. Lovely memories of a fun night of drunken sex 🤣

Yes but easily couldn’t have as we were knackered after the stress of the run up rather than the day in itself. I had to shower first to wash all the hairspray out and all the makeup off. And peel the very painful boob tape off which would have been a passion killer (along with the Spanx)! I couldn’t bloody wait to get all that off. The nicest thing is just getting some peace and quiet. You spend the whole day pretty much being pulled from guest to guest. Worth scheduling a little time for just couple photos. It was one of the nicest parts of our day (our couple photos) as they weren’t obtrusive and we could just digest the fact that we were married.

We got married in my parents back yard and self-catered.

Yes but it was just a quickie and nothing memorable. We went backpacking on our honeymoon and didn't have much sex then either. I suppose if you had abstained before marriage it would be a bigger event.

Btw, I forgot about the expensive lingerie despite packing it. Save it for the honeymoon. And definitely book to go somewhere, no matter how short it is or local. I loved my wedding day but I had less stressful/more romantic days on my honeymoon.

I was on a strict diet to lose weight so hadn't eaten carbs, sugar or any alcohol for months. On the night I started drinking again and got quite drunk, my DH ran me a bath after the wedding, I passed out. No sex for him 🤣
