Poor Reykjavik has the hurricane winds but not the heat...

So random shower-based thoughts:

Winds of 15k+ mph is faster than the speed of sounds. Would we all be deafened by continuous sonic booms?

The winds are faster than the earth spins (I think). What happens if the winds are blowing in the direction of the spin? And what if it's in the other direction?

Would the earth take on a bit of a wobble? And what would happen then?

I asked my 16yo ds what he thought. He shrugged and asked Alexa. Alexa didn't know.

I think it's safe to say that if these winds genuinely appeared we wouldn't be able to be worried about it!
