I live in the lands here 😱

Notonthestairs · 31/01/2019 14:45

Love the map. The sad face in Norfolk made me smile (although my nieces will be cross). I'm in the middle of Herts and hoping to get a bit here.

unicornsrule · 31/01/2019 14:47

BBC weather saying for me snow from 7pm right through till 7am

RustyBear · 31/01/2019 14:49

Lots on hills in..... but.....later ???

perhapstomorrow · 31/01/2019 14:49

Love the map!! My dh asks whether you're a Dr as we've been trying to decipher your handwriting! 😂

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/01/2019 14:52

lots on hills but first batch feeble. Grin it fragments into two bands as it approaches.

sorry, my hands are so cold I couldn't make them do what I asked them to do. You should have seen the map I tried to sketch before zi gave up and printed one.

OYBBK, I’m getting conflicting opinions as to when it’s all going to start here in Herefordshire. DD1’s school, having sent them home early on Tuesday have brought forward collection time by 15 mins to include buses, so DD1 gets on her bus at 6pm. Heard nothing from other school so assuming normal pickup at 5.40. Question is, should I be going going in earlier? That is rhetorical really as sadly I know you and Gloria don’t have crystal balls!! Grin Wink But I’m slightly on tenderhooks as I don’t trust my car and don’t want my dcs to be stranded at school. Doing that obsessive weather app checking thing!!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/01/2019 14:54

oh! it says 'loads here' not 'lands here'.
This was supposed to be easier 😂

Ahh no! Thought we'd escaped the snow up here in Newcastle and now I see we've got a weather warning for tonight and tomorrow! So, OYBBK and Gloria, are we looking at a dumping or showers

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/01/2019 14:58

Cloud, you should be ok, light snow from nowish, but I think not really getting going til about 7.

RomanyRoots · 31/01/2019 14:58

Ours has gone we had a couple of cm yesterday, Greater manc/ Lancs.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/01/2019 15:00

Showers Scarlett, except if show trains start to form, depending on the direction some parts of the NE could get more prolonged bouts. Might be quite sleety rather than snow.

Laughed at 'don't be greedy'! I'll just enjoy what we've already got Smile

Skade · 31/01/2019 15:02

We've got an amber warning in Poole - it seems to have got a lot greyer outside in the last 20 minutes or so, wondering whether we will get snow or not!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/01/2019 15:04

refer to the map Skade Wink

NigellasGuest · 31/01/2019 15:04

Seems not to be coming to west Herts before 1am so will have to wait til tomorrow morning to see if we have a snow day or not!

zen1 · 31/01/2019 15:04

It’s so frustrating! My Met Office app is literally changing its snow forecast for my area every half an hour, building my hopes up then knocking hem down again!!

zen1 · 31/01/2019 15:04

*them

SquirrelShit · 31/01/2019 15:05

Badkitten, your map is fab. As an Oxfordshire person, may I just ask what the word to the right of the two question marks is, please?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 31/01/2019 15:06

First picture is looking East, the leading edge is sitting in the Blackmore Vale over Dorset. Second picture is looking overhead. Third picture is looking southwest.
