Very cold in East London this morning, -3 and frosty. Have just put some water & apple out for the birds, 4 Goldfinch on the feeder.

It doesn't look like we're going to get anything, hoping it gets pushed eastwards. At the moment seems to be even chance of snow or rain at 10 tonight.

Cloud that could be an interesting journey!!!

-7C when I arrived at work this morning (according to my car thermometer). Brrrrr.

Forecast seems to keep changing, so can’t work out whether we’ll get snow or not. I suspect not - it hardly ever snows in Bedford.

It's my first winter in the South Wales valleys and I'm hoping for some snow.

My eldests school is running buses home at lunchtime as it's due here this afternoon which is fair enough, I'd rather he be home safe.

The younger ones are in walking distance so that's easy enough.

I just hope we actually get some snow as we didn't get any on Tuesday!

OYBBK, I know . I’m tempted to go over early and get them home. We live half way up a steep hill so get snowed in very easily, tiny roads and main road is 2 and a half miles away!

Its snowing here already!

I'm right on the south coast in Hampshire - as in work right next to the water, and it's even forecasting snow here. I live a tiny bit inland on top of a hill. One of my guys lives near Bournemouth, another towards Guildford.

Whilst I'm not convinced we'll see snow where I am, and if we do we're forecast rain first so it might not settle, but I'm guessing there's a reasonable chance that staff might not make it in tomorrow?

I'm about a half hour drive from my DC in pre-school so I'm a little edgy today. I'm going to leave early just incase it does hit. I've been caught out before down here. One minute no warning, the next we were on an Amber alert and it just dumped down.

School are making contingency for a snow day tomorrow. Shall I pack my work bag or start planning my snowman? I keep seeing different forecasts for here - beautiful, glistening frost covered Bristol.

I'm so used to the snow not pitching here...

Very cold in Surrey but no snow yet
Window cleaners came and before I realised their water had frozen on the North facing front of the house so I can't see out!Not the day for that

@stabbybitch Ooh possibly! I'm between Southampton and Portsmouth. Beautiful morning here, lots of sun and everything is covered in a beautiful layer of frost.

Fabulous morning here in south Surrey, although just starting to cloud over a little bit. Our three hours of heavy snow forecast this evening by the Met Office has changed to light snow.

It's interesting that the amber warning is a little south of where I thought the worst will be.
I'll be back home in an hour or two and I'll take another look at the models.

I know the symbol part of the weather websites are automated but according to the metoffice, we've no chance of snow now (and I think their website is struggling as it's very slow.) BBC weather still think we're in with a chance of slight snow overnight though so we'll see which one is right.

No snow......but blue sky earlier with what looked like tiny glitter ( think it's called diamond dust ) sparkling in the air.
Then all sorts of ice halos formed around the sun

Had to take the tractor to rescue supermarket delivery man last night - stuck in the ice and had to walk down to find us (in his shorts! - also had to lend him some waterproof trousers...). Off out today to pick up my OH and packing the 4x4 on the basis we will be digging our way back in...
