Agh! Just looked at the weather app and next week looks like hell! On Tuesday, when we have a big event and I'll be running everywhere and driving for hours, it'll be over 30

Every bloody heatwave I get sick, moody, and then also don't sleep for weeks. Every time! No idea why. I dread them

Pretty sure 10 degrees is not freezing

So over the heat today. Took the dc to the park, they had a great time which was the aim of course. But I was sweaty and headachy the whole time. Since we got home dp has been getting on my wick for moaning at the children for simply being children (for example moaning at 1yo dd2 for touching things she's not meant to have after he left them in her reach instead of just moving them away from her, I ended up saying something to him about how he expects too much from the dc and he's stormed off upstairs because apparently I'm always nit picking Well maybe if he got off his arse and put things away dd2 wouldn't be compelled to go for them.

I'm so done. We tried to have a nice day but failed spectacularly. Everyone's hot and bothered. It's shit.

And if another person comes onto this thread to tell us all how wrong we are for hating this weather then I'll probably end up banned. Go and enjoy the sun and leave us to have our moan for goodness sake.

I can't believe how quick it's heated up again.

Looks like it's shaping up for another scorcher here today and I've had more than enough already. Rethinking plans for a Sunday roast as I can't bear the thought of having the oven on or eating it when it's cooked. Trouble is everyone but me is sick of salads.`
