Keeping a small eye on Sunday/Mondays weather

It probably won't come off but I'm keeping a bit of an eye on Sunday and Monday.

Models show remnants of hurricane Bertha coming close to our shores and develop them in different ways. It's hard (for me) to de tangle which bit are Bertha but the results are, either nothing to worry about at at all (most likely scenario) or some potentially wild and wooly weather as two of the models develop some pretty tight gradient lows for this time of year.

GFS takes it across northern Scotland bringing windy weather to the north, ECMWF brings it across southern and central England bringing windy weather to the south. UKMO just produces a slack low which could bring in plenty of rain.

Will update with developments.

Dh has set off for his bike ride! Very dark grey skies and a few spots of rain but it is due to start getting heavier within the next hour. I'm still in bed in the hotel!!

Blackpool Air Show today and tomorrow. Great free show on the prom. It is fine and dull after a fab day yesterday. Hope Bertha stays away so I can see the Red Arrows!

I'm in north devon and we have thunder and lightning at the moment with big showers of rain every so often!! It is quite nice to be indoors watching it out of the window

Steady rain in Oxfordshire!

All very weird. Supposed to be driving to Oxford setting off at 10.30. But now can't decide what to do!

It's heavy here in S Wales, thunder and lightening and the stream sounds full! I think 7am was the peak of it for us according to the met office maps. Going by those we'll be over the worst of it by 10 but I can't see us having an outdoors birthday picnic at 12 really...14 kids inside for 2 hours it is then

Southwest cornwall. Rained overnight now nice and sunny, bit of wind. nice change from the humidity I left behind in the south east.

It is gloomy in Kent. Raining but not overly so, and not very windy at all. We had a small squall yesterday.

It feels and looks very much like Autumn is upon us. Hooray.

Reporting in from a tent on the Norfolk coast. Fairly heavy rain overnight. It started around 2am but was heavy by 3.30. I am yet to get out of my sleeping bag but seems to be light showers at the moment. Slightly breezy but nothing significant.

I would be most grateful for an up to date forecast for the Norfolk coast if anyone could. My Internet connection is sketchy here.

Norfolk: Cloudy with rain, heavy and possibly thundery at times, throughout the morning and into the afternoon. Rain becoming showery by late afternoon, with some dry spells possible. Strong winds throughout the day, with gales possible at times.
