Hasn't stopped snow drizzling - good description- can't call it snow flakes., more like powder. Been at it for nearly 3 hours now. +0.8 degrees c out. Definitely something going on as always remember big flakes here in South Herts. They looked lovely< qizzical face>
Little dog looked expectantly at the door, so took her in my arm and opened the door - she shivered and I shut the door again. So doing some washing instead - or the machine is. And various other household chores.
The cleared pathways and driveways are now covered with snow again.

So time to eat now as lunchtime.

Looked out of the window and the falling snow looks to be a bit thicker than earlier. Is it getting worse in Surrey or just looking that way?

Mid Norfolk here
A small amount of light snow at the moment. Is it likely to get heavier today?

South Herts reporting in again.
It hasn't stopped all day, but little dog wanted to go out so donned all my gear on, opened the door and before I could put her lead on she was out jumping around like a rabbit all excited, and rushed out the back where there is a canal which she would have fallen into, if she hadn't stopped and come to me when I frantically called her, and then with relief I put her lead on.
There is so much more snow today despite the tiny powder-like snow "flakes", it was up to her neck< but she is small> Think we had 4" at least today so far.

We never got any serious snow when we lived down there hellhasnofury, is sledging down the big ditch banks as good as our mates made out?

I slid down a very steep dyke in Germany which bordered our back garden, in my trousers. I was younger then and enjoyed it, but my boots had to land on the wire fence and bend my kness so as not to injure my joints. Didn't do it again though. And it was sunny but well below freezing.

Might just be enough snow for sledging in the morning JammySplodger, we've had some reasonable snow fall in the last few winters but hadn't had much this winter up until today.

Cool, have fun. I think it's due to hit here overnight so we may be hitting the slopes tomorrow.

East Devon (at least our little patch of it) has been utterly snow-free since Friday lunchtime. Thankfully we went up to North Devon for the weekend and saw some serious driftage and snow banks. :)
