Snow watch!!!!

well, it looks like winter finally might be arriving!

First indications for snow are for this coming saturday as a low pressure draws in cold air . The met office arent really going for it at the moment, but the potential is certainly there. At the moment I'd say the biggest risk is for the midlands and central England.

After that there seems to be a cold few days but then the models start to disagree. GFS shows a positive snow fest for the 24th! masses of snow, but its a long way off and until we get much closer who knows what really will happen.

Apparently, the reason DH has yet to take the old plastic bath to the tip, is because OYBBK said it was going to snow! Apparently, he's going to use it as a sledge!

80% risk of snow here at the weekend!

Have actually booked myself a 4 day weekend at the end of the month in the hope that it will snow shit loads and I can then go play in it with DS guilt free

They're saying at the moment that there's a good chance of snow in Bristol on 19th Jan.

Eek! I'm getting married on Saturday. East Kent. Pretty as snow would be, I'd hate for it to keep people away. Cold and bright, please, and it can snow as much as it likes from Sunday onwards :)

Toby, hopefully it won't kick in too early for you on Saturday. I think it will be mostly rain, perhaps for the whole thing or turn to snow later on in the day.
