Getting really really fed up with it now. I actually think it's partly to cause for my depresion coming back, I am feeling so down ATM.
I get soaked twice a day walking midnees to school. I ahve 3 airers ful of wet washing all over the house, the heating on to dry it all, and muddy dog pawprints everywhere.

I want someone to turn the tap off please

Yeah. Each run is started with slightly different initial conditions and together they give an idea of the uncertainty of the forecast.

I'm afraid what I am about to post may make you cry.

Gone are the hints of warm :( just unremitting cool/cold with plenty of rain days for many. Some very wet days this week. No signs of change next week.

I recommend we all decamp to Spain.

Oh no :( I have had two days of sun with just some light cloud (in Wales! It's a miracle!) and the thought of going back to rain and gloom is just horrible.

What about the wind, OYBBK? What about the wind????

My parents are in Cyprus for 3 weeks (went out yesterday) and rang last night to say they'd arrived OK. They go out there twice a year and I don't usually feel the pull to go with them but after all this miserable weather, I'm feeling all and told DH I could quite happily jump on a plane and go. I've had enough of rain; I need sun and warmth!

Me too just sinking into winter lethargy and it is May! Still in fleeces when normally I am well into birght summer gear by now , lively and full o' beans...

And (been meaning to post this since I saw it on Friday) the weather guy on the BBC lunchtime news said that the temperatures at the moment, are at or below what they were at Christmas.

I think we've had one dry day since the 4th April, when the hosepipe ban kicked in.

My taxi driver told me there's a finite amount of rain, and better to get it all down at once :o
