As requested by our snow guru OYBBK heres the new thread as the other one is almost full.

And I have no idea why I'm still getting involved as we had no snow

We had micro flakes again this morning!

Met office says light snow for us 9pm and midnight. Erm we'll see! Doubt I'll wake up to any though.

sets alarm to look out the window in an hour or so

Drizzling in Somerset at the moment.

So Met Office twitter feed is saying no significant snow for London, their weather warning isn't over most of the city yet their forecast symbol is heavy snow

Looks like nothing left on the radar now for Hinckley. Boo :(

I am in mansfield notts and it was snowing a little bit but has stopped .

Snowing here quite enthusiastically (SE E Midlands). Not as much as the other night though.

I am getting a bit worried that this snow ain't going to happen here. 5-10cm my arse.

Still light snow here, dp's 1 hour detour took 2 hours!

That was pathetic. A few micro flakes that didn't even leave an icing sugar type dusting.

I want to book a snowy holiday now

Met office has changed its mind throughout the day but we are now forecast heavy snow overnight. woo hoo! :) ( should add were West Sussex)

Weather.co.uk says it's going to snow here right through to 1pm tomorrow. There is nothing left on the radar for sw leics/nw warks - it's all gorn. Nothing north of us at all. So I think not!

Regardless of what the different weather forecasts keep saying it is not snowing here. It has rained a lot and it is very wet out, but that has also stopped for now, and def no snow at present either.

This is a very good thing!

Ooh piggly, maybe we're in for heavy snow too then (in Redhill, 'bout ten mins from sussex border) its snowing here and it doesn't look that light to me.

boohoo - things have changed (though I did hint at the possibility last night)

well my bath was successful - I have light snow now.

Looks like the radar is a bit useless tonight - a lot is evaporating before it hits the ground - we have some very dry air. Also, I have no idea why there is nothing showing north of the band you can see on the radar. To be honest I've not got the foggiest what will happen tonight. Tis going to be a surprise for all of us!!!
