Just come back in to see it all go mad on the weather front in the SE. Be aware that the developing storms may produce damaging hail, flash flooding, c-g strikes (unplug those pcs if there is a storm about) and strong squally winds.

Quenelle · 28/06/2011 14:41

It's been rumbling around Luton on and off since about 11.30am.

< extremely virtuous because I still went for my lunchtime run - and got v wet >

Lots of thunder here (south of Horsham) and now the rain has started .

Very dark out there .

20 mins till I have to walk to school .

No lightning yet that I have noticed .

I love a good storm . That hail sounded scary though .

N01 · 28/06/2011 14:43

OhYouBadBadKitten · 28/06/2011 14:44

PestoCaffeinisto · 28/06/2011 14:46

Oh b*gger, will have to go & take my bikini off, was hoping for an afternoon basking in the garden...

moonmother · 28/06/2011 14:46

Been distant rumblings of thunder here in Bedfordshire since about 11 am, with a few spots of rain here and there.

1.20 we had more prolonged rainfall and by 2pm went very dark. A couple of claps of loud thunder/lightening then really heavy rain for about 25 mins.

Now very bright, although thankfully a lot less muggy Smile

Looking at the radar etc am I right in thinking we're in for more, as the storms move up through London?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 28/06/2011 14:47

I'm quite interested in how the storms around the Wash are doing? I think they could get quite interesting?
