Just come back in to see it all go mad on the weather front in the SE. Be aware that the developing storms may produce damaging hail, flash flooding, c-g strikes (unplug those pcs if there is a storm about) and strong squally winds.

I've seen quoted just under 25,000 strikes for this storm system as recorded by the IOW detector which makes it the 6th most active day on their records. Impressive.

I went past the tower block in Bermondsey, that got hit by lightening, on the train last night. Bloody Hell.

How frightening for the residents of that block and for all the others affected by the lightning strikes.
