Could explain why there’re no pictures inside the pub; maybe they’re both barred 😆

Where would be fit into the RF now - I mean on a family basis, not as a working royal. It's been six and a half years. What would they talk about? Everyone's moved on, with new shared experiences and memories that he's not part of. The younger generation either barely remember him or don't know him at all.

I think only way H and hamlets would fit in would be when Meg spits him out and he's given a sanctuary akin to AMW but conditions are he keeps his head down. Which will be a problem as he's incapable

Even before the backyard wedding some posters on here were predicting and/or taking bets on how long it would take her to isolate him from his family and pointing out how fast she dropped ex friends and her own family. She's surpassed herself by managing to isolate him from whole countries now!

It’s a different pub. The supposed service issue was at the pub near Ellen Degeneres place in a village near Jeremy Clarkson’s pub.
This other pub is much nearer their rumoured home.

Great Tew area is swarming with celebs, the pub will have served much more famous and important people. But they will no doubt have been very discrete - it’s likely that the details about what they had to eat will have come from HaM themselves .

There’s something so sad about them being so desperate for attention that they booked a photographer to ‘pap’ them walking through a pub car park 😬

Maybe they’re intending the message to be - anyone can be photographed at an official event, but we’re the only ones who get pestered when out and about, because we’re more relevant and interesting. Perhaps forgetting that W+C, and any of the RF really, could be papped in private but try their best not to be, because a) they actually value their privacy and b) have no need to drum up interest.

I believed that was the intent from the very beginning. Harry was clearly unhappy in the RF, she picked up on that and encouraged his grievances and the plan was to decamp to Cali and monetise his links with the RF and his connections to make money independently of the RF. All well and good, except monetising your links with the RF depends on actually having some, and as the years passed those got weaker and weaker - not helped by Spare and the OW interview.
Turns out that doing a flounce and pissing off the fam wasn't a good idea after all.

I really wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they imagined a scenario where the RF were in disgrace because of their racism, and due to an insistent public, parliament asked H+M to come back and be the new king and queen 😂

More like 20mins, we live in the near area - that distance would feel like pretty local to us.
Also very near Soho Farmhouse and other places they have been spotted.
The why? Is an interesting question - a great picturesque photo op, a very chocolate box village as a backdrop?

I often drive half an hour/an hour to a nice pub for lunch. What’s wrong with that?

Was he really unhappy ? I don’t think he is a good actor ( although probably better than his wife) and he always looked quite relaxed with W and C and other members of the family .
My theory is that M thought that the 2 brothers would be equal and when she realised that was not the case ( officially anyway , I am sure KC loves both his sons) she told him it was unfair etc and the rest - as they say- is history .

Yes - I think you could be correct that it was boxed up when she moved.

The only London property she has access to now is Ivy cottage at KP - only slightly bigger than the HAm maligned Nottingham cottage.

I don't remember H being very unhappy. Just quite unimportant/ irrelevant.

And don't forget they're fresh out of LA environs where, as I understand it, everyone drives everywhere and that would be a very 'local' journey length.

It used to be where we went for our wedding anniversary lunches. Roughly 30 miles away from where we used to live. Day out with a nice lunch in a very, very pretty village. Always wanted to live there.
