Still awaiting the publication of October's Public Engagement Court Circular for the Royal Prince of England

That last thread filled up really quickly . . .

twosmallaxolotls · Yesterday 12:01

Morning, Your Royal Jeffness! Will all this joy never cease?

Puzzledandpissedoff · Yesterday 12:11

Thanks once again, jeff
I still can't believe how fast these fill, but will do my best to keep up!!

ShamedBySiri · Yesterday 12:12

Thanks for the thread. Off to the laundromat to wash the winter duvet in preparation for colder weather. I will be needing large quantities of gin and jokes by the time I return.

I thought you were going to wash the duvet in gin for a minute there!

Yes, all it's going to take is an announcement that 'As Ever' are going to produce a set of Christmas Festive Crackers or that a white van has been spotted in a lane in the Cotswolds and we'll be at the end of this thread in no time at all . . . .

AutumnCrowOfCleves · Yesterday 13:53

A additional October engagement has just been announced by the household communications director (DP says his daughter needs to pop round and use the printer).

A bow to you @jeffgoldblum for your unfailing alacrity in setting up new threads. I am following the model of the magnificent and elegant bow modelled by Meghan Markle on her their Netflix show Harry and Meghan. Alas I have no ginger princling sitting at my side to silently observe my performance tribute 🙃 (the emoji represents my world being turned upside down by the global dearth of ginger princlings).

Now to a question. If HaM continue with the kind of stunt they pulled earlier this week, using precious public resource, what instruments of state might be available to GET THEM TO STOP? They are private citizens and have the right to the freedoms we all enjoy but they are raising the temperature and trampling on others in their path, including families at their children's school. For other, non-Royal-adjacent (!) private citizens, schools would be considering whether there was a safeguarding issue, and
the police would be considering a charge of Wasting Police Time.

StormGazing · Yesterday 14:13

I can’t keep up!
has anyone else had the feeling these two photographers at the school are paid for by the gruesome twosome somewhere along the line? - was
going to mention it a day or two ago but I don’t think I got around to it!!

My DB was a police officer for nearly 20 years. He used to occasionally tell us about various shenanigans that people got up to and when we asked how he dealt with it he always replied dryly "Advice was given"

I would imagine some poor police officer has had to attempt to give advice to H & M, knowing full well that the advice will not be heeded, they are "special" etc etc etc

Sorry I don't think this answers your question but I would imagine it will take a few more 'incidents' before any constabulary can amass sufficient evidence to prove they are wasting police time

I would be telling lies if I said that thought hadn’t entered my mind!! , particularly with the suspicious “fixated” woman who turns out to be Sussex squad!

Is there any independent confirmation that they were photographers, or is it just H&M saying so? They might have just been two blokes out for a country walk and a pint. Or twitchers, if they definitely had cameras.

I will admit ( but not reveal! ) that I do get a friendly nudge , when I’m not paying attention or missing in action!! 😁

Me. IRL I have one friend who is as captured by HAM's shenanigans as me. When we began our discussions, I often accused her of cynicism. Now, largely because of the lies they have told, I have become cynical myself.

This week's 'incident' is being compared to the New York car chase. A better comparison is the press photoshoot in Mexico of Thomas Markle preparing to attend the spectacle at St George's Chapel Windsor, allegedly organised by M to make him look bad.

So cynical have I become that I am prepared to consider the possibility that M created the Eugenie copy of The WBench and arranged with an existing seller for it to go on E-bay priced at £19,999.99. Anything for attention.

The fact that it bore so many similarities to the Fairford incident (man with back pack, white van) makes me very suspicious that this was all a bit of an invention. Given that the Sussexes rarely seem to have an original thought in their heads and often seem to jump on bandwagons, that would
be my (by now very jaded) take on it

It was the two hour wait that made me highly suspicious. I cannot imagine any circumstances surrounding children why anyone (school staff or security personnel) would wait two hours if there was concern about someone's activities/presence on the school perimeter.

'Advice was given'. Brilliant because understated.

Yes, I'm sure HaM would have to do far more contacting the police to be charged with wasting police time. At the moment they're on the nursery slopes.
