The school have already agreed that Meghan can win the sports day so she can’t move somewhere else and risk uncontrolled sprinting by parents in another school

I wouldn't like to be the teacher responsible for casting the nativity play 😉

I’ll bet he “decided” nothing. He was warned off crashing the official service.

Which official Remembrance Day service though, KilkennyCats?

If you're thinking of the Festival from the Albert Hall or the one at the Cenotaph they'll both be crawling with security and could easily keep Harry out if that's what the RF wanted ... unless I suppose he bursts from the public crowd, waving a wreath aloft and scattering officials right and left Confused

I have so little trust in H&M that it wouldn’t surprise me if the white van story was set up by them in an attempt to get taxpayer funded security. I might be unfair, but they have form for misleading the public.

Wouldn’t surprise me!

There are rumours on X ( so pinch of salt) that staff in a pub refused to serve M because she insisted on being addressed by her title.

I'm not convinced. Meghan would never walk up to the bar in a pub and order a round.

IdaGlossop · 30/09/2026 16:31

Great PR from the Kensington Palace team though: Princess of Wales in a white van (mini bus) in Sussex, enchanting everyone, eating lunch with the ordinary elderly, no visible security.

Our visit to Sandringham last Friday was lovely (although KC certainly knows how to charge 😉). Happily, I can report there are no photos of horrible Harry in the public rooms and only one childhood photo in the stables. Predictably, there are no photos of the "actress".

The church (St Mary Magdalene) is stunning, and much smaller than we expected. It must be very cosy in there on Christmas morning.

If we lived in the area we'd definitely buy an annual pass.

Markle parading in her "pooh" hat at Sandringham was just one of the many travesties foisted on the RF and us courtesy of the debauched prince.

They've even started charging for parking in the park, we used to love taking the grandchildren up there for a run round. In 2012 we watched the Torch Relay leaning on the wall of Snadringham House, when the torch had gone on its journey the House was opened to visitors at half price, never ones to miss a trick!

Press harassment isof no interest to Ravec. They really are clueless.

Apparently she was with Ellen .

Also , they were maybe seated and someone went over . No idea, just rumours.

There's an AI video similar to that.... Let me find it

Mostly. They also have “Enterprise” written on the side which is nothing to do with the Enterprise News & Pictures Ltd based in the U.K.

Yeah same as over here in Ireland, so quite the needle in a haystack 😂🙄

If there was paperazzi in the white van how would they know which of the many children in the school were Archie and lilibet to photograph them.

They’ll be ones walking backwards away from the camera. It’s all the poor kids know.

Edited

The Oxford Mail has covered it, using 'allegedly'.

Maybe they’re worried he plans to wear uniform, despite being told not to?

You forgot the 'TM'. It's actually 'The Royal Prince of England™' and let us not forget it. Since, you know, he is the only one that should be called that. The rest are just run of the mill prince/princess.

The hamlets shall receive their own ™ in due course.

🙄🤣

Many, many apologies ~ of course, I should have known better.

Deep apologetic curtsys all round

Press harassment isof no interest to Ravec. They really are clueless.

Also, if their own private security discovered this alleged 'international photographer' and reported him to the police before any harm was done, doesn't that prove that their current private arrangements are working well? What difference would it have made if they had taxpayer funded security?

He could always march with the veterans after the Cenotaph, but I suppose his muscle would want him in his own space with them surrounding him and glaring at all the marchers if they come too close; a bit like Megz at Wimbledon. Or he could volunteer to take the wreaths from the marchers and lay them at the Cenotaph.

I'm finding it highly unlikely that US service kids would be going to a small private UK school. The US military DoDEA schools are extremely highly rated as far as educational excellence so it wouldn't be a decision based on that if they did. Perhaps if they have a UK parent or the family plans to stay in the UK after the active parent leaves service? I'm not saying they're 'better', just that they're 'just as good' as a highly rated UK school.

The other thing is that all DoDEA schools all follow the same curriculum so that transfers of duty station doesn't unduly disrupt their education. So a child living on a UK base would be following the same curricula as a child attending school on a base in Germany. For a child to attend a 'locality based' educational curricula school could be very disruptive should the parent be transferred to another country.

I agree totally with you. I know a lot of friends who where stationed abroad as military kids and not one was privately educated there plus I don't think the average GI could afford it.

I don't think it's been named here. And, while I'm not the thread police, I personally think it's better if it is not named. Most posters here have a realistic sense of the situation and don't need to know the name of the school to see how ridiculous all this is*

*Plus, HAM will have to leak it themselves at this rate. Don't do their dirty work for them!

KCitsweyourHammiewevecomehomenow · 30/09/2026 16:57

I’d rather it wasn’t leaked either. They’re kids after all and it’s very disruptive for all the children in the school.

Yes @Tabbytiger122, bricks is correct, we all agreed that the location of the school and the actual residence should not be mentioned.

The children of USAF families near me sometimes go to the local village schools and according to their parents are often ahead of their peers on returning to the US.
