must be very unsettling for the little Hamlets to have this story in the press

Possibly, so how did the story end up in the hands of the press??

Exactly . . . I really feel H&M have got a lot to answer for with regards to their childrens welfare

smilesy · 30/09/2026 10:01

At the end of the last thread, a poster commented that “white van, men with back packs” is almost identical to what happened at Fairford and that the Sussexes can’t even be original with their security threats. I absolutely agree and I’m sure there are other examples of the Sussexes copy catting other well known incidents eg the near catastrophic car chase to echo what happened in Paris and Meghan jumping in to the pool in the exact same pose as Diana. They really do think no one will notice 🙄

I see KC is hosting a Carol Service this year ~

Event Name: The King's Trust Christmas Carol Concert
Date & Time: Wednesday, December 2, 2026
Venue: Westminster Abbey, London
Description: A ticketed fundraising gala featuring timeless carols, special readings, and musical performances to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the charity.
Tickets/Cost: Ticketed fundraising event; further details and booking are available directly via The King's Trust Events Page

Do you think KC will invite the Sussexes? If he did, it would take pressure off the POW inviting them to her Carol Concert

I really don't think KC has to invite them. HAM very clearly in bed with CS.

thy won't be invited to either of the events..... why would they?

Doesn't take a genius to work out who leaked it, all part of Hazbeen's plan to get what he wants.

it won't matter surely? The RAVEC will look at actual evidence and not hearsay and non-events.

I've just looked this up ~

Event Name: United for Freedom Charity Gala

Date & Time: October 1, 2026 (private evening gathering)

Venue: Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Rd, London SE1 6HZ

Description: A private, high-profile black-tie gala headlined by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, featuring speeches from prominent figures in business, diplomacy, and public life. The museum will close to the public for the evening to host 120 select guests

My first question is "will H make a speech?" & my 2nd question is "how private is private?" i.e. will we get photos?

I do like the wording of this event ~ "private" "high-profile" "prominent figures" "select guests" !!!!

Why is he attending this? Smacks of a faux royal gig

notimagain · 30/09/2026 10:11

TBH if they're worried about White Vans then I'm surprised H is planning on attending a function at the IWM in Lambeth...

Just one or two wrong turns on the way there and he could end up at the E&C roundabout..what will he expect then? Extraction by Special Forces??

(Apologies to any residents of E&C I may have offended with those comments).

I was wondering if he would go & knock on a few doors on his way home and see if he could find any of his old chums . . . .

But he's 'headlining it' whatever that means . . .

Let's hope he doesn't have to do any public speaking

Starryfifty · 30/09/2026 10:18

Why were there no paps hanging around Cali school? Seems ham were a lot safer there

He wants to go to the castle but ends up as a white elephant? Very fitting.

I don't think he would or should be invited to the POW's Carol Concert

But I wondered whether KC would invite him to the King's Trust one because he's in a 'damned if you do and damned if you don't' position with Harry

I can't see H&M being invited to Sandringham and, I believe, there is usually a large family dinner at BP prior to Christmas for all the extended family and I can't see them being invited to that either (because the Wales would refuse to attend if the Sussexes went) so the Carol Service is the only possible event they could be invited to

With all the HAM leaks, one we haven't got is how much they and hamlets are enjoying spending time with dear Pa

DancingFerret · 30/09/2026 10:27

Our visit to Sandringham last Friday was lovely (although KC certainly knows how to charge 😉). Happily, I can report there are no photos of horrible Harry in the public rooms and only one childhood photo in the stables. Predictably, there are no photos of the "actress".

The church (St Mary Magdalene) is stunning, and much smaller than we expected. It must be very cosy in there on Christmas morning.

If we lived in the area we'd definitely buy an annual pass.

Markle parading in her "pooh" hat at Sandringham was just one of the many travesties foisted on the RF and us courtesy of the debauched prince.

Well if the police are really going to be investigating every darned white van parked near a school that won't leave them time to do much else.

It reminds me of when ds was about 6 or 7 and wat h a lot if traffic cops.
He went through a stage of wanting to report every white van as they "either have stolen goods hidden by collage in the back, or sell drugs"...

bluegreygreen · 30/09/2026 10:35

I could actually see them being invited to that, if they are invited to anything.

It's extended family, and it's a short event (people drive there and then leave afterwards); unlike Sandringham, where people are staying over.
There would be little time for private conversation, and I'm sure the Wales family could easily keep out of their way.
It would be a good way to show to the world that there is no 'feud' but that they remain on the outskirts of the family - wedding and funeral acquaintances.

What the heck would everyone talk about?! They'd be fearful it would be sold to the tabloids or a gossip magazine!

So many big puffy words

So few actual details

And no names at all, apart from Harry (bulked out with all his titles as usual). Could it be that they're having trouble getting anybody to go?

They certainly haven't got any big names going. There's no other reason why they wouldn't be publicising the speakers at such a "high profile" event.

I wonder whether they've actually managed to sell any tickets? Will it be like the Meghan thing in Australia, where they had to rearrange tables and draft in employees to make it look full?

Doesn't look that impressive a 'gig' to me.

Several levels below what he would be doing as a working royal.

I agree that this is the most likely invitation this year. I doubt anything of substance will be said in their hearing, if they attend at all, but it's the perfect invitation. No publicity except a few photos in cars.

I have so little trust in H&M that it wouldn’t surprise me if the white van story was set up by them in an attempt to get taxpayer funded security. I might be unfair, but they have form for misleading the public.

Or if the driver, assuming he exists, is quietly released without charge within a few hours.

Even if the story is true, how would having taxpayer security help? Taking pictures of children at school is obviously inappropriate, but it's not an actual security threat.
