KC can’t provide police outriders. He could only pay for what H are currently paying for themselves.

But PH can pay for his own 24/7 security - the level of which he personally determines as he has done for the last 6 years.

My understanding is that he wants armed security which is not available to purchase in this country even if you are the King.

The only way armed security is actionable in the UK is via the police force as decided by Ravec.

I suppose he could do fake police security and have his own outriders with blue lights screeching alongside the school run convoy - like you see on the motorway when a mobile home is being moved - but assume you have to apply for one off licence for that. Maybe they could get a stunt mobile home to get around that conundrum…

H doesn't have any gravitas/magnetism. He never had. KC played a blinder in the US with very young children. This is a man in his late 70s. The kids loved it and he appeared to love being with them too. He listened to them and had fun with them. PW and Catherine have the same gravitas.

I suspect H is going back to when he was "popular" as a young prince, and doesn't understand that when you're young, people give more of a leeway to messing about than when you're older.
I've a relative that thinks he's so "cool" and is increasingly out of touch with young people around. They are cringing inside, and not reacting, and because he's not getting the laughs he used to when he was surrounded by "mates" he increases the silliness because he thinks that what he needs to do. When actually the young people would appreciate far more him as a sensible listener.

One of the things that makes HAM look short sighted, is let's say RAVEC do look into his security and decide it needs upping. They'll review it regularly and (as they say about shares and investments) "it can go down as well as up".
So it going up because they reckon the risk has gone up, will almost certainly mean it goes down again at the next review.
So they'd be foolish to let him influence them into increasing it, because inevitably it will be reduced later and then there'll be a bigger tantrum.

I don't think KC will be funding him for security, because if he does it for H and not the other three then he can be accused of racism and not caring about the others. But if he does PW definitely won't when he becomes king so it's short-lived at best.

Do we think he has anything scheduled for October after his ‘very busy’ September - which just involved him working with the two charities he has already worked with for decades.

When Meghan posted pictures back in July, (which seems an age ago), relaxing by the pool, with a glimpse of a laughing ES and his new wife in the background I thought she was just being mischievous. However in the light of current events I can see it was a sly hint at what was to come. Now here they are a little gang, throwing mud and shit at Charles and by default William and the rest of the Royals.

ES may not have divulged much about the content of his book but he surely shared that there would be a book. Back then I was quite sure, and posted as much, that CS would never allow filming at the site of Diana’s grave. I was also quite sure he wouldn’t cooperate/collaborate on any “documentary” produced by H&M. Now I think I was quite wrong. ES has kicked off the 30 year anniversary early, getting in first with his book which I think will overshadow any other planned books as obviously he has his memories and perspective, and also has an archive of records, photos, letters etc.

Will he share those resources with H&M for a documentary? I think collaboration now looks highly likely.

And H&M will need help from ES to beef it up as I still believe, they will have limited alternative resources to fall back on. Harry has very limited memories of his mother. Surely, especially after this, no one who genuinely cared about Diana, or who cares about Charles or William or the RF will want to contribute. I’m quite sure William will do everything in his power to limit access to contributions. He may be able to exert legal power to ensure that no photos or clips that include him are used. I’ve no idea how H&M were able to use clips from the Panorama interview in their Netflix series - surely they are copyright to the BBC - did the BBC cooperate? So without help from ES I believe any documentary H&M are able to string together will be decidedly thin, with commentary from the usual suspects keen for a bit of publicity and a small fee.

We have 5 grandchildren between the ages of 14 and 21. I showed them a photo of Harry and they didn't know who he was. They all said that they would be embarrassed if he was in their classroom.

Even if the Bank of Papa pays, it can't buy armed security, so in H's eyes it will still and always be inadequate. Because it's not what Papa and Willy have.
