I must admit I was positive about H&M at first and enjoyed the wedding. The scales fell from my eyes when it was the baby shower. It was not only vulgar, greedy and expensive but I saw that the merching was going to go into overdrive.

That is what really settled it for me as I realized it was acting as I'd seen her do exactly those expressions before - especially the sad face, where she looks bereft and looks up at her interviewers with huge eyes as though on the verge of tears. She recycled that, and most of the other expressions for the Bradby interview from the "Fairy Tale Princess" episode of Castle where women are being murdered and dressed as fairytale princesses. She played the sole survivor - Sleeping Beauty - but of course it turns out that she is the stone cold killer.

The engagement interview also gave me pause because of the suitcase girl/ reality show poses she pulled and also spending £60,000 (presumably of KC's money) on a dress. But I gave the benefit of the doubt that perhaps she'd been poorly briefed by Harry and got carried away.

Yes. That poster has been through a lot of very obvious name changes. Which is their prerogative (!) of course, but it's so funny to notice the exact same posting style across name changes.

Same with the poster whose name is a variation on my own colour theme! Been posting exactly the same stuff all the way back to a certain valley in California!

Interestingly the Wales children start school in Windsor the day QEII died. A pure coincidence but, given the family knew of her illness, not entirely accidental that they removed the London commute from the security arrangement around the time the family moved up the line of succession. PH's family will never be at that point in the LoS, so won't ever actually meet the needs of the Wales family.

As in - the piano-playing, gallery-visiting, exhibition-curating, art history graduate, amateur artist and photographer Catherine has no interest in the arts.

I think part of the issue was that they knew they would be looking at schools to the west of London which would have made a nightmare trip on exeat weekends

But there were other security issues as well - but funnily enough the Wales family don't talk about the real security breaches they suffer as opposed to HAM who make sure we know all about potential breaches.

• KP was a bit of a security nightmare and several times the Wales kids were photographed in the garden from the public areas and I don't think William wanted his kids to grow up in a goldfish bowl. W&C still use KP as their offices and official entertaining venue - but I think they like the distinction between work and home.
• KP has also suffered multiple intruders that must be a concern
• There was also an intruder that got into George and Charlotte's school - St Thomas's Battersea - twice

I felt this way too until I saw her walking down the first bit of the aisle alone. I began to feel as if I was watching a red carpet event or a model on a runway. The absence of sharing that experience with Doria seemed wrong to me.

I didn't watch the wedding (too appalled that it actually took place) but when I saw a picture of her parading solo down the aisle all I could think of was the wedding scene from The Sound of Music, even though that was far more tasteful.

Think CS book says island etc - I know I’ve read it in the last few days, especially the consecrating the ground and names the people who consecrated it.
I believe if she’s not there it would have been really big news over the years.

Well, I certainly hope so! And after having his incendiary 'recollections' greeted with a lot of doubt and scoffing, I'm not surprised he wants to be 'unable for comment'. But somehow I doubt he'll be able to 'step off into the sunset' and will continue to defend his book and defend HAM against their mutual enemies. Enemies they have made all by themselves.
