To be honest, this reminds me of the Jason arday thread. I was a participant. I feel ashamed of that. I would hope that no one kills themselves. It hurts when they do. I don’t think meghan would. I actually don’t think ph would. It’s just a thought.

Wore my own wedding tiara
Bought DD a new dress to ‘wear to the wedding’.
Invented a BLOODY CAKE to celebrate their wedding !! Baked said cake and decorated it by hand!!
I also opened champagne and did a full ‘royal wedding buffet’ with ‘Chicken Balmoral’ as the main dish. (That was served at Charles & Diana’s wedding I think. Or Anne’s. Maybe me cooking tht caused this HaM disaster!)

I made my own **bunting from French knit in Red white and blue, with red white and blue material pennants, each one cut out with pinking shears and painstakingly stitched on by hand. I did 15 meters of it for the front of my house.

I had very sore fingers. ** it has been re used at the Kings Coronation celebrations.
My mother sat there with a hat on and a glass of champagne and she wasn’t happy - she wasn’t impressed with Meghan walking herself up the aisle and it didn’t sit well with her that only meghans mother was there. If my mother had that much of a gut feeling imagine how W &C, C&C and QEll & PP felt!

Anyway - @OhNoooooooooooooooo Clearly you have no idea how long it takes to get permission back from parents for a school/class. The general one signed at the beginning of term would not have covered the school for this visit - their kids faces and voices are all over X . It’s not like just being put on the school newsletter. Don’t you think it’s incredibly hypocritical that HaM don’t show their own kids faces, preach to the Hoi polloi how it’s terrible to put your kids online and then proceed to promote themselves by putting other people’s kids all over the net??

Re: Swans: the Fellows of St John's College Cambridge are also allowed to eat them. AFAIK, they don't.

We have a pair of swans that always nest on a pond just off a small river near us. Last year they had four cygnets, but only two survived. This year, they have six! I get ridiculously excited when I see them and how much they have grown 😆

I absolutely disagree with those children’s faces being all over SM. And the press and SM guessing what the children said. It is so hypocritical. However, i believe that PH is out on a limb. He needs his family to go in there and maybe try to save him. There is a MH crisis going on i think. He is nothing and he doesn’t like that. If his father loves him he needs to reach out.

its in relation to this thread. As it’s so derogatory that anyone being targeted by that would feel absolutely suicidal. I think it is appropriate comment in that context. However i really don’t approve of HAM behaviour.

With best will in the world, there is more chance of Andrew killing himself after the discovery of his behaviour, the global humiliation, hate and comments, being publicly stripped of his birthright and everything he holds dear!
why are you not handwringing on one of those threads? , do you think bad behaviour should not be spoken about just in case…..
im personally sick of this emotional blackmail from people trying to shut down comments! , first it was “remember Caroline flack ( domestic abuser) “ ….now it’s “Jason arday” he lied and embellished and used his race to get away with and used the police to threaten any journalist that tried to expose him ! , neither of these people were innocent and as sad as it is that they killed themselves it doesn’t excuse their behaviour!

Swans can be very aggressive and violent. Many years ago we visited a place with a swannery and there were warning notices. They are very large and can break bones with their wings. Best to keep your distance. They can take exception to just about anything and fly into a rage damaging both humans and property.

Apologies if others have made these points, (I’m only skimming as I’m supposed to be working).
I imagine Harry chose to dress like that because he thought it would be more relaxed with kids. But the students in those videos are wearing school uniform, so the least he could do is wear a jacket and a tie.

Also, maybe the school and parents were OK with Harry’s visit because they see him as a cautionary tale/scared straight character
