I do wonder if there is actually any school that will be able to meet their expectations in regard to security. I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

They will have spent time getting to know their new schools, classmates and teachers and now have to go and do it all again

I don't think much of H and M but I hope they settle down and allow stability for the kids moving forwards.

This whole thing has been a farce. At the beginning they pre-announced their return back home and there were press reports of them landing. They could have been far more discrete about that and could have probably settled the kids into school without anyone really realising. Then posting pictures of their location etc. I don’t think they’re Machiavellian enough to have done this on purpose- I just think they attract drama and do some stupid stuff.

I do feel a bit sad for them because they could have genuinely disappeared off and lived lives quietly in the states or somewhere else but that wasn’t enough and they opened their mouths to court controversy, do the Netflix stuff etc. I think after a few years of them going to ground, they’d have been left alone. Some of this circus now is very much of their own making.

I have no strong feelings on them either way, but how can this not be the reaction they expected? I’m not saying it’s the reaction they deserve, but surely no one is sitting around going “oh how weird, I thought it would be well received”.

people not impressed with their planning skills and discussing the disruption in the children's lives is not hate speech nor is commenting on the obvious attention seeking.

The whole school thing, and publishing their itinerary/ whereabouts for all to see, are both designed to try to force the Royal Family/ the government to bow to their wishes on the security front. They are really not very bright, are they? It's never going to happen. Then they will flounce back to America (or preferably even further away than that) and milk the situation for all it's worth - more chat shows and another book, probably.

The thing that irks me most about these two is that they claim they want a quiet life away from the spotlight, but only seem content with 'careers' in the public eye, and suing people in a very public way. Normality is there for the taking - how do they think the rest of the rich and famous manage the school run? There are plenty of nice private schools on both sides of the Atlantic which would have served them well, and at which nobody would have batted an eyelid at some minor royals being enrolled. I bet Beatrice and Eugenie/ Louise and James just got taken to school by their parents.

I hope I never hear about these two again, but I'm not holding my breath.

DiPoW and her drunken chauffeur were chased at high speed in Paris, which (along with her decision not to wear a seatbelt) led to the death of Harry's mother. I don't think a school run with a sober driver is remotely the same.

Agree. If only no one reported on them, sought them out, commented on them or in anyway featured them in news on and offline, they would have the peace they crave. We would have a rest from the constant barrage. And perhaps, just perhaps, some truly relevant goings on in the world would make the news and spark more meaningful discussions of what really affects our daily life. Alas, daily mail still exists

For all their its us against the world routine, I don't think either of them will ever be truly secure, content and settled whilst they are constantly chasing the next public appearance and fame

Yesterday's Susses PR was all about look at our cute loveable kids and today, oh no the school run security not adequate.

I'm afraid now that king Charles has reportedly has gotten involved in one of the Sussex PR stunts (Invictus Uganda), if he isn't seen to get publicly involved in this latest stunt and is seen to be helping them with their security, Charles will have lost the PR battle (war?).

another one was when they were in a hotel and room service came to the door, Meghan answered he hid under the bed sheets and described himself as a “prince shaped lump” or something. Lest he be seen by hotel staff. Harry mate I can quite promise you nobody gives a fuck that you are in a hotel room. Far more controversial things will go in in hotels, and they don’t want to stick their neck in at the sex evidence of their guests.

So why do they brief the DM then, if they don't want to be the subject of media clicks? Charlotte Griffiths (the one Harry tried to drug with a white pill) of the DM has revealed that they do, eg she was briefed about the meeting of the palace and Sussex PRs at the Royal Overseas Club. She was tipped off, enabling the DM to have a photographer present to snap the apparently private meeting. The DM was on the infamous WhatsApp group, and Richard Eden confirmed the Sussexes provided the DM and other press with operation notes and briefings for their UK visit. What do that if you want to be left alone?

From the and present behaviour of H&M, I do believe that moving their kids to a different school has more to do with their demand for paid for security.
It could very well be that the logistics of getting to the school have not been thought out well, but we know how demanding H has been regarding security; security that is, that has not been paid by him.
I believe this pair will use their kids as an excuse to get what they want and I'm sure their list is long and evolving, and that they will always be reaching for something that others have that they don't.

It is just people who have had enough of their constant circus, drama and need for attention.

I used to have a lot of sympathy for them at the beginning, but I have none left at this stage.

Harry and Meghan seem unable to understand and appreciate how privileged they are (wealth, health, two kids, a loving partner).

They had the chance to start a new life abroad away from the glare of the media, which they claim is what they wanted.

Instead they managed to mess it all up by seeking attention, engaging in some weird money-making enterprises and constantly criticising other members of the Royal Family. They alienated anyone who did business with them in the US with their behaviour as well.

At some point they really need to take responsibility for their poor choices.

Frankly so many people are struggling in their everyday lives and it is hard to empathise with two people who have so much and yet never seem to be able to live a happy life and create chaos wherever they go.

They are just an embarrassment at this stage.
