I do wonder if there is actually any school that will be able to meet their expectations in regard to security. I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

Someone said just a few days ago that 'security' is now their excuse for everything. So I'm questioning if 'security' is the real reason for the change in schools. We know they do everything on the spur of the moment. Which isn't great when you have two school age children who are supposedly at great risk. They are both incredibly irresponsible, selfish people. Those poor kids.

As to H&M briefing DM and others, well, only they can answer that (They announced a few years ago they would not wok with DM but then the RO Club meeting was after that so who knows. Me too. Dr Gabor Maté has said he clearly has PTSD, of which hypervigilance is a part. Then you’ve got Meghan who felt suicidal over press harassment last time. I feel super sorry for them because they have obviously come back hoping people will be kinder but in fact that rightwing press have massively radicalised a portion of the public against them.

I have some relatives who read the mail and they actually sound totally mental when they talk about it. So irrationally angry. Like some on this thread. It’s very sad and also concerning. Thing is, as with Diana, if any of them end up coming to harm all the people who gobbled up the gossip will lay flowers and deny their complicity entirely.

I am starting to feel it is bordering on a munchausens by proxy situation where these poor children are infected by their idiotic parents delusions about security and they will live in a state of fear.

I had a friend whose mum had then undiagnosed schizophrenia. She really believed her mum’s paranoia was the truth until eventually a total collapse took her mum to hospital and other family intervened.

It affected her dreadfully and even as an adult when she could appreciate her mum had been ill she could never quite forgive her for the ruination of her childhood.

I think H’s chronic drug use, his limited intellectual ability, his sense of entitlement and resentment have combined to such a degree that he has no grasp on reality.

M on the other hand just exploits whatever suits her purpose.

The children are both pawns and collateral damage in their parent’s circus.

The effects of this instability will be with them both for life. Hugely sad to watch this play out.

They also need stable parents.

I do not understand (and will never understand) why they don't just pay for security?

Although they might not need as much as they claim to, if they didn't keep announcing their movements to the media.

They’ve not been here 5 mins and already uploading details of their daily life. They can’t have it both ways they say they want a private life yet are still uploading on SM. I feel sorry for those poor kids.

God I wish people would leave them alone! Seemingly they can’t do anything right. I actually feel sorry for them. I’ll probably be under attack now so I’ll batten down the hatches.

How can they trust their security team if they got to that wrong 🤔

Why are they sharing this with the press? No one asked.

But can’t you see some of this is totally of their own making. If you were worried about your children’s security, would you post a picture of them online where their location can be identified? Would you brief the media that your flight into the Uk was landing at a specific time?

I think people had sympathy with them initially before they started generating drama.

They don’t plan anything properly and this is another case in point.

The school's probably heaving a huge sigh of relief today! I wonder if HAM will demand back the fees paid? Usually it's a full term's notice that's needed so they shouldn't be entitled to any return of fees.

If they'd left the UK for the quiet life they craved then who would have cared? But they didn't. They started bleating and whining as soon as they left. They chucked Harry's family under the bus on international media for money with no self awareness at all. They're a pair of treacherous, perpetual moaners.

What rubbish parenting!
It was H&M’s responsibility to ensure they chose the right school for their children. They secured the school places really late, without doing the necessary due diligence apparently, and are now putting their children through yet another massive upheaval by starting them at another school. Poor Archie and Lilibet won’t know whether they’re coming or going!
If all this palaver is due to incompetence then that’s highly unimpressive and if it’s been done on purpose to try and force the security issue then that’s despicable.

I feel sorry for the kids.

And frankly, I’d be surprised if they can find another school to take them - it’s an awkward time and who the hell wants this kind of drama?

I had to laugh at the reference to 'keeping vehicles in convoy'. Made me think of Harry whining a few months ago about being 'promised safe passage'.

You would think the most expensive parts of the English countryside were a war zone! A war zone to which they chose to bring their young children, apparently without making appropriate arrangements. They really are clowns.

No, numerous sources including H himself admit a lot more than that.

I have colleagues with children at the two schools in question - and any “security” risk is essentially just a complete lack of planning / taking advice. Any educational consultant (and there are plenty of firms advising high net worth families relocating to the Uk on choice of schools) - or any parent - could have told them that the school run through that particular area is a nightmare and the journey would easily take an hour each way. It’s like Christmas being a surprise.
