Breaking news in the Daily Mail. Duke and Duchess of Sussex's children 'removed from school after two days' mol.im/a/16130877 via https://dailym.ai/android

I do wonder if there is actually any school that will be able to meet their expectations in regard to security. I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

No back tracking. I still hold racism as an hypothesis.

I don’t - I honestly believe the vast majority of people were all in favour of Meghan and didn’t give her race a thought - I know that was me and all my fiends/family.
We thought she was great and would be a wonderful member of the RF.
Of course I’m not denying that there were press and individual comments but they were relatively few and abhorrent. I believe it made most of us more ‘on her side’ as a result.
However M played the race card (long before Oprah) and in my opinion (in hindsight) she started by abandoning her father before the wedding - it looks like he just didn’t ’fit’ anymore. He was hung out to dry by M &H and the press took advantage of him - wasn’t a hanging offence, just a few photos which he thought would make him look better.
H has never met him remember - never!
It could have been so different - they could have been a brilliant addition to the RF.

The National Crime Agency provides advice to those people in the UK who are at risk of crimes such as kidnapping.

Within that advice is a section on keeping a low profile, and not making your movements known on social media.

I wonder if RAVEC or his security firm has given Harry similar advice?

Good advice 👍🏼

Well, what is very clear is that some posters think that Harry is above criticism. I think because he's a prince.

Yes. A white British prince

Noodledog · Today 17:56

@Lugol , I agree that the @DaftBerkCanGoFHimself 's obsession with Meghan's race is very odd, and diminishing to M. And I do think the PP should be able to offer some evidence if they are going to throw around serious accusations. Actually all of their posts seem to be based on mean minded insinuations about other people's motivations, based on nothing. They should maybe have a think about their own motivations.

Deeply unpleasant behaviour.

I agree.

The press headlines were so rare that they had to invent them for the section on Oprah where they created a montage - some were invented UK headlines, others were from US and Australian tabloids

What other reasons? If anyone can give me one solid other reason for so much energy spent on hating a couple of people nothing to do with them, I’ll gladly consider it.

I don't like the fact that she cut her ailing father off before the wedding for no really good reason (some photos trying on wedding suits? Really?) and has had nothing to do with the man who brought her up (after her mother fucked off to have a good life) and still won't have anything to do with her family because they don't fit her image.

Her father has begged to see her and she still blanks him because guess what? He's not a King.

I don't like the fact they gave an interview to Oprah while Prince Phillip was dying and played the victim. There were endless lies they both told throughout that interview which were debunked many times by Royal experts.

I don't like Harry either.

Her colour is irrelevant.

I have many more reasons for not liking the particularly unlikeable woman, same as the rest of the civilised world it seems.

Also get some help, you seem to think your 'consideration' is something we should give a shit about. 😂

The fact you keep harping on about her colour makes you the racist.

If it’s the same security team that they has in Nee York during the ‘near catastrophic car chase’ then they are definitely incompetent.

That was the time they took their principals out of a blacked out SUV driven by their own security team and put them into a random, unvetted yellow cab on their own in the MIDDLE of said chase.

The only explanations both scenarios is either:

They’ve hired the worst security team ever

They are being given good advise but are ignoring it

There is no real danger and they and their team know it and these are manufactured drama scenarios

Edited

Is it the same private security who accompanied Harry to one of his many, many, many court appearances and one of them was carrying a bloody massive rifle? I mean, unless he was going to use it as a club what possible use was it going to be to anyone? It would take several minutes just to set up its sights and scope!

Harry is white.

They should use their millions to buy an armoured SUV and employ a driver and a bodyguard to accompany the children in it if they are that worried.

Surprised by how much this thread has blown up - I've been on MN for yonks and it looks like it's going to be my first post to have reached 1000 replies. One thing I am certain about is that Harry and Meghan seem to inspire very strong opinions on MN to a greater extent than the majority of subjects. I'm interested in them enough to have made a post about them, but I personally don't think about them 24/7.

I don’t think most people think about them 24/7 under normal circumstances.
I get the distinct impression however , Harry and Meghan don’t really like that, so ensure they are the topic of conversation as much as they can.

The fact they keep trotting out the race card makes them look like little more than a troll.

Nobody gives a shiny shit about Meghan's colour and there are posters on this thread that will be BAME and don't like the woman.

I'm actually amazed that there can be anyone anywhere that can observe even the slightest antics of that pair and like them at all. 😳

Those who claim critics of H&M are motivated by racism and envy are simply taking away all responsibility from them for what has happened. It's just an easy way to try and absolve them of any blame for the consequences of their actions.
Well I'm sorry, but calling your father's wife evil, and your brother's wife cold and uncaring, lying and slagging off the family and the country, including the much loved head of state, that has given you everything, whilst also trying to make yourself rich off their status, then I'm sorry, but you have to take the consequences.

ha

good effort, in the same way that people post new stories on Reddit to sit back and marvel at the upvotes

It's blown up because the tabloids have fed a lot of misinformation to already angry people and the tabloids get more clicks for engaging angry people in getting them further angry about things that don't make a difference to them tomorrow when the alarm clock goes off

Good points

Just sickened by the mindless hostility towards this couple. Despair of the human race really, all piling on. You've all been taken in by the media and it would be a good thing if this family lived as private citizens so that you can discuss TV soap operas instead.

Can’t they just put them in breakfast and after school club, it’s dead at my kids schools then 😁

This is just your interpretation you get that right? Not grounded in fact.

What is it about Sussex fans that they need to insult people they don't even know? And if they're going to do that, could they at least keep us amused by being original? All the posts look like they're following some kind of formula. Maybe they are.

I think most people would love for them to go away and live quietly- even better if there was never anything about them in the media again. Sounds like bliss, unfortunately both of them seem to have a pathological need for attention.

They literally don’t want to. They want to be seen as public figures.
