Why have H&M chosen to proactively brief the general public about the logistics of their childrens school run to compromise their privacy and security?

What do H&M believe the general public need to know about their childrens morning routine and why? It’s bizarre that they want total media black out on where they live and where they go to school - but then choose to issue these specific details? Make it make sense…..

This is despite security checks being performed by bodyguards for the Sussexes in the summer - which did not include an assessment of the commute until the first day of the school term.

I believe the Prince Philip used to drive around central London, perfectly incognito, in a taxi cab. They should stick those kids in a Ford Focus with tinted windows. No one would be expecting that.

Have they made arrangements with another school at a moment’s notice? How can this be? How many schools have two places available and can accept the children just like that?

Some discussion on X that they aren’t living at the Wace place but just dropped hints as a sort of decoy plan, with photos taken on a previous visit, laying a false trail. On the one hand this wouldn’t surprise me, Meghan especially likes to play silly games with her hints and red herrings. On the other hand exposing Wace to so much unwelcome publicity is another level of outrageous behaviour - I can’t imagine he would have happily agreed to it.

Still… If they set up the Wace photos to mislead then it would seem entirely likely they also made up a totally false school run story. Who knows. They don’t operate like normal people so normal standards don’t apply.

Those poor children must feel so unsettled with the sudden change of countries, no friends or family, and parents as ever angrily glued to their phones and reacting to media reports 24/7.

I wonder where they ever on a school in UK at all? You can pull a kid out of school and straight into another one

Catching up. Harry's security team seem as competent as his PR. It's hardly going to increase the credibility of their "security report" when it turns out it was prepared by a company who are surprised to find that traffic increases during term time.

Thanks for posting these - I'd been thinking that I was sure I'd seen media reports of Catherine driving apparently alone in an SUV doing the school run. How can she manage it but HAM need a convoy? Surely that actually creates more risk through being separated, two vehicles to keep an eye on etc.

It's all very unsettling for the kids who have had enough disruption already. Reminds me of the dash to be with the dying late Queen - Catherine didn't go, in spite of having been a family member for years, because the kids were starting school and she stayed at home to keep things stable for them. It's a mindset totally lacking in HAM's decisions.
