There is literally no end to the drama these two create. Imagine moving your kids to another country, moving into a house provided by a millionaire 'friend' , the kids start school a couple of weeks after the move, and two days later they are withdrawn. What on earth is wrong with them? The damage they must be doing to those two kids...

Imagine using 2 innocent children to get your own way .
Unbelievable.

Unfortunately, nothing surprises me about them. It's got to have scared two little children who were loving their new school.

Thedom · Yesterday 20:49

This is one reason why these threads fill up so quickly, we've become a general chat room

Agree with this, I find I’m losing interest !

Getting more difficult now to find relevant content, irritating having to scroll past chit chat that doesn’t add anything to the PR disaster conversation, it’s okay to throw in a bit of humour or go off at a tangent every now and then, but it’s been a bit too much lately.

Janiie · Yesterday 20:54

Why didn't they do a dummy run and see what traffic was like for the school run. Imagine having drivers etc so utterly gormless.

prejudiceandpride · Yesterday 20:54

99.9% of parents would research a school before enrolling there.

Its a bit sick using your kids in a ploy to get taxpayer funded security / media stories just to make yourselves feel more important.

BasiliskStare · Yesterday 20:55

Thank you @jeffgoldblum 💐

I am getting really a little teed off at H's leaks about security. If they are using the children for his Ravec rematch that's poor. I'll go as far as to say piss poor. He may not have leaked it , but such is the extent of their execrable PR it's not unbelievable that they have. Badly done Harry. The Beckhams , Abramovich managed to get their children to school under the radar (inter alia , including other non working members of the Royal Family.)

If they could just stop snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory they might get on very well 😊

Thanks @Mylovelygreendress

It's all in how you spin it, isn't it? They were always going to have a review by RAVEC, as soon as they moved to live in the UK again.

The disruption to the children is horrible.

Thanks again for the thread, @jeffgoldblum.

I can’t believe they are moving their DC to a different school after 2 days !
Another attempt to get 24/7 taxpayer funded security.

H and M's behaviour is disgusting. Harry is treating his small children as tools to use to get what he wants from Ravec. God knows what long term effects this level of instability and constant paranoia from their parent will have on A and L. Harry is very, very far from being a good father- that requires a lot more than sometimes clowning around with the kids.

Thedom · Yesterday 21:02

This is absolutely crazy ! They only had to ask the school and a few parents ‘how’s the traffic at drop off and pick up’ 😀 and plan accordingly,

I think a poster on one of the other threads who had a strong idea of what school it was, already mentioned the traffic congestion.

prejudiceandpride · Yesterday 21:05

we're assuming they were ever enrolled in a uk school in the first place

GrouvilleMaLuv · Yesterday 21:07

I feel like we are living in an alternate universe! WTAF! Poor little HaMlets!

Maybe the Wake Me Up Before You Go Go on the video was a hint that they are not staying in the UK for long?

AlwaysRightISwear · Yesterday 21:09

So they had to wait for a place to come up at school 1 hence the overnight move. But now they can move to school 2 with no notice.

KatherineParr · Yesterday 21:11

So they were so in love with this school that they made a rush move to the UK as soon as places became available, but they have already withdrawn them from school after a few days. Right.

I actually wonder if this is their way of beating a hasty retreat back to the States. It makes no sense otherwise.

I never saw that one coming.
Guess its nice to know they still have the capacity to surprise.

My2cents1975 · Yesterday 21:13

The school story does not hold water.

Any competent security professional would have accounted for the volume of parents dropping kids off at school in the morning. Anyone who routinely picks up / drops off kids knows to account for traffic.

Ok, I left for 2 hour and the kids have changed schools. Absolute shame on this pair of narcissistic twats. Those poor kids

PrivateCitizenTooDimforDiplomacy · Yesterday 21:14

Thanks for the new thread @jeffgoldblum
Already racing away from me.
Anyway I’m moving with the times and have changed my name!

This was posted on Reddit, 1999 the initial review of security for the RF.

The Queen reimburses the treasury the £1.5m-a-year cost of annuities that enable royals to undertake public duties but that does not cover the cost of police protection.
^^
Senior royals, who reportedly have been angered by the extravagant security operations around junior members of the extended family, agree that there is scope for further cuts.
^^
The most recent controversy came in May when London rush-hour traffic was brought to a standstill for 40 minutes by four separate motorcades carrying the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Michael of Kent, the Duke of Kent and finally Princess Alexandra - all accompanied by teams of outriders and followed by cars and vans filled with guests - to the Chelsea Flower Show.
The entire operation, repeated in reverse a little over an hour later, cost an estimated £120,000. There are also inconsistencies in the way individual royals deal with security. The Queen and the Prince of Wales frequently travel without motorcycle escort, but Princess Margaret usually has three outriders.
^^
The Duke of York and his daughters also enjoy a protection team considerably larger than that around the Princess Royal, who was the subject of an armed attack 15 years ago, and her family.

Royals face security cuts to slash cost of protection

The royal family is facing extensive cuts in their security arrangements as part of a review ordered by Buckingham Palace in an attempt to reduce the £30m-a year protection bill.

I am shocked that they are changing the kids school. And that they had a convoy of cars to get them there! A convoy! What planet are they living on?

I think the sudden move from their American school, a two day stint in one school and now on to another school is appalling behaviour....this is shocking parenting.

Full time Dad....my arse!

They are putting their status above sanity. I bet the parents in that school are thrilled they are leaving - who would want that nonsense at the school gates every day?!

Those poor kids - they'll probably end up being home schooled as nowhere will be good enough for that daft couple. I really hope they don't carry on with their ridiculous drama in front of the kids.

A convoy of cars for security and yet they release a video of the backs of the kids and where they have been. Do they genuinely not see the hypocrisy?!

I've followed along with these threads from the very first one and this is the first time I've felt actually annoyed by their carry on.

Gonners · Yesterday 21:23

Any self-respecting potential child kidnapper who had taken five minutes out of his (or her) busy day to read the mainstream press's take on all this nonsense would have thought "Nah! Not worth the bother!"

Thedom · Yesterday 21:25

Catherine stuck in traffic on the Kings road, no convoy, no outriders, waiting patiently for the traffic to move.

Harry and Meghan would do well for, themselves and their little kids to follow the example of William and Catherine.

Using the children's security at school drop off is the lowest I think H&M have sunk. This is something they could have researched beyond research if this was a move they really wanted to make. Or they could have rented a house with their own money closer to the school to make it easier rather than , as ever , accepting , perhaps asking for expensive favours from rich friends / acquaintances . H&M's popularity is already low. most polls I have seen are very much not in favour of H getting taxpayer funded security. Now that's not up to the general public , that's up to Ravec. Read the room H. Listen to the wake-up call on the meme posted on the last thread 😊

Starryfifty · Yesterday 21:27

Why do they need a convoy ? Can one SUV with tinted windows not suffice ??

HarryLimeFoxtrot · Yesterday 21:27

Surely everyone knows about school traffic? It’s not like it’s a mysterious phenomenon. I’m half surprised they haven’t decided to just helicopter the Hamlets to school! Although perhaps no one will lend them a helicopter.
