Another terrifying prospect is HAM homeschooling

In fairness to the security team, if the whole "let's move to the UK" wheeze really was as last-minute as reported (which I think many of us disregarded) because of waiting for school places to become available), then they probably didn't have an opportunity to stress-test the journey in term-time - especially as their accommodation may well not have been finalised until the last minute also.
What an absolute shit-show - As Ever.

Ok, so the first time, the traffic is heavy and the convoy got split up, but the kids were fine.
The next day? Perhaps a different route or leaving earlier.

IcedPurple · Yesterday 22:53

Are we taking bets? How long before the reverse flounce? Or should that be the reverse reverse flounce?

Usernameinabeyance · Yesterday 22:53

I'm saying that if they had popped A+L into a Steiner school in Forest Row and driven them there in a nissan leaf no one would be any the wiser.

....(But ofc that's exactly why they didn't do that)

So they have never been to actual school in their lives before moving to the UK?

Allegedly.

Do you know what ladies and Royals Jeffness- I’m at the stage now where I don’t give a shiny shit about HAM or the Hamlets,
We predicted this.
We know that there will be more crap like this in the news (why was it in the news?? Who leaked this and why???) in their desperate attempt to get security paid for by us.Its pathetic.

They want 4 teams -each of 8 people- 24/7 for every day of the year. Outriders the lot. That would cost around £7,500,000 PA -rising every year. And that’s the minimum.
Now I know in the grand scheme of things it’s small fry .
But it’s millions of £ per year for one family of private individuals.
My Dd has Autism, ADHD and fibromyalgia.
I fought desperately to get her an EHCP -but the council was under huge pressure to refuse all but the most sever cases due to finances. It was about £5k per year which would have helped her massivly .
When I was nearly driven to a complete nervous breakdown due to the frustration fighting for her then DH having an accident and becoming paraplegic DD told me to stop. I did, she dropped out as she simply couldn’t cope without support and for four years became a NEET.
£5k PA. To help a child become a functioning adult.
So that £7 million could help 1400 children -instead of taking two kids to school. Two kids who people don’t know what they look like or frankly that they exsist.
Why are they more important than my DD and so many other children?

Two kids and their utterly deranged selfish entitled parents who make me want to scream In frustration at their utter greed.
Hvent they had enough from us already??
Why on earth do they need a convoy that screams “LOOK AT ME-LOOK LOOK!!” rather than just a car with blacked out rear windows. In rush hour the vast majority of people don’t give a damn about who is in other cars -they are concerned with getting their own kids to school and then to work.
I can’t bear them. Their behaviour is beyond the pale.
I think it’s time people started writing to The King about their behaviour.
All of their titles need to go.
Free them from their chains of royalty I say. Especially the kids with their stupid names.
I am now going downstairs to get the tub of Munchy things I got from M&S for my lovely neighbours for Christmas (sorry -the C word) and I’m going to eat the bloody tin. And it’s HARRYS FAULT I’m going to eat about 3000 calories!

Oh and Diana definitely didn’t have a pre nup.
According to Ingrid Seward (Majesty) she started the divorce negotiations with an opening salvo of £46 million.

KC3 should privately call their bluff.

Dangle a promotion to PH, promise a castle or whatever it is they want, armed guards, no boring old royal duties

...then what might be their response? Would they promise to settle down?

I genuinely think it's not possible - they had the world at their feet, and they still weren't happy.

They didn't want to be working royals, so they flounced and went to Oz to...visit hospitals...just like W+C or any number of royal-adjacent pseudo engagements. Hiring their own paparazzo for a war memorial jaunt in the pandemic incase anyone missed the sincere sincerity. Because he wanted to be at the Cenotaph, but wasn't allowed, but could have been, but he didn't want to be until he did and the couldn't.

They did. In the Summer holidays. It mustn't have occurred to them that there would be a lot more traffic in term time. Utterly gormless, as you say.

If you put directions into Google maps and give the time you are travelling, it's pretty good at allowing for school run traffic.
I expect most of Archie's form could have helped them on that.

If they ever did go, and I very much doubt any of the parents other than HAM would talk to Hello to say they'd seen them ( called adding verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative) then I'd be surprised if it wasn't planned from the start.

But if it was true they've just told everyone that their security is incompetent and they're going to send the kids to another school. Probably more put put that despite their careful hints dropped to find the school they weren't surrounded by paps.

Poor kids.

I hear you. Currently stuck in EHCP appeal hell with no hope of a flounce or even a plastic tiara. It's a full time job in addition to my actual job and I'm going to get my wrist slapped for a derail but yes...hence my slightly bitter (who me?) post on thread 37 about PH apparently having ND. He might but he's had access to support others cannot even dare to dream of.

Sincere apologies re: derail. Here are two spooning bananas to make it look like I'm on topic 🍌🍌

He can’t though. It’s not up to him, it’s up to RAVEC. They really think he’s an absolute monarch 🙄

Agreed.

I remember H stating in his whine to the BBC that his father could sort out his security with one phone call if he wanted to.

Then on the other hand M says she will sue if their titles are removed so which is it?

It seems the King is omnipotent when it suits the Sussex narrative but subject to the law of the land when it doesn’t.

Hypocrisy and stupidity. Quelle surprise.

Doesn’t sound like it, seems it was normal school traffic that scared them.🙄

North Oxford traffic is bloody appalling, mind you. Not for the faint hearted.

I have to be honest and say I really don't care about the Sussex children.

I hope they're safe and happy. But I have zero interest in where or even if, they go to school. I don't need to know. None of the public so.

H&M would do well to actually focus on their children. They shouldn't be used to sell their mothers business and they certainly shouldn't be used as bait by their father in his scheming to get tax payer funded full-time security.

Security which, when he did have it himself, he spent most of his time moaning about and trying to get away from.

Fully agree! , and I would go one step further…I don’t care about any of the children, I don’t like discussing them either, I want them all to be safe and living as close to a normal life as possible.

however as a mother!!! The hams are positively the worst, most unfeeling and self absorbed parents in perhaps the whole world!

You did food bank engagement last week too.
If you do another engagement this month you will have done more than HaM.
I do hope you announce them to local press!
‘Service is universal’ -indeed it is -but the vast majority of us like @Mylovelygreendress just get on and do it because they are good community minded people with big hearts - not entitled lazy grifters who are bigger attention seekers than Katie Price.

H takes the view that because he exists we have to fund him for life.

He shows no gratitude for the life of incredible privilege he has had and continues to have, instead he demands more and more and more.

Nothing will satisfy his insatiable greed.

He has no interest in the struggles of the country and of ordinary people, except to use any pleb he can find who is still willing to participate in one of his PR grip and grins so that he can trot out some crap pretending he is a saint “just like my mum”.

At the same time he rubbishes us all, our country, our monarchy, our press and our judiciary.

Now he wades into international relations spouting whatever bollocks comes into his severely limited mind with no idea of the complexities and protocols of diplomacy.

Thank fuck for William or we would be looking at this twat as the future king.

I am re reading The Traitor King at the moment and the parallels with Edward and Wallace are uncanny.

Where will this all end?

Whilst we are not living with the threat of Hitler we do live with the rise of the far right and the evil manipulation and interference from Russia, China and quite likely America.

An estranged and stupid “royal” with a grudge is a dangerous gift to malevolent forces.

I think the H&M show has stopped being funny and become a threat.

I wonder if they actually have more security than they know and MI5 have them under surveillance?

It could be prudent.
