I could be wrong but having seen this play out in person, I believe this round is 'the show of force'. The lies, the tantrums, the sulks, the pretend amazing life etc have not gotten them what they want from the RF.

Since they returned to the UK it's clear they are just going to be royal (their version of royal) because dammit they are royal and no one is going to stop them. Every move from here on will be directed at showing the RF that they cannot be dismissed and they will be the most important members of the RF.

They are going to force it to happen by refusing to follow any of the rules laid out for them, and by continually pushing their narrative by showing up and doing things they are not suppose to be doing (all while shitting all over KC/W&C). It is going to be the worst shit show yet.

H wants W's role and M wants C's, and their DC are to replace W&C's DC (without the actual work). If they don't get it, M for sure will be happy to see the RF sink with H following her lead. It's going to get messy and costly very soon.

I don't think the school change is about them being dim about how things work, this is about them making a huge issue about everything good or bad - death by a thousand cuts for the RF.

Yes it does. I checked that specifically. And leisure use. Passengers on quads built for one (with a long seat you sit astride) are always illegal. Under 13 can only use specific lower powered quads if the quad and wider set up comply with legislation. I guess it is in response to the 4 to 16 people killed using them each year, principally on private farm land.

If it's the Dragon, most people doing the drop off are the parents, often mothers. It's an amazing school so you know the horror of the commute is worth it.
I don't think it could ever be worth it for a non-relative, no matter their fee.
I'm not surprised the security team made up some bullshit excuse when faced with doing that commute every day for the next 5+ years.
The security team are private, so will never say to HaM, "nah, you can just drive them yourselves, safe as houses." It would be like Michael Jackson and his medical team. Never given a clean bill of health.

I still don’t understand the convoy .
Assuming both parents were in the huge 4x4 ( unlikely if feedback from Monteshitshow is accurate) there would still be room for a security guy in the vehicle so why a convoy ?

With the best will in the world there is no understanding it except as either security theatre to provoke free public protection or a manifestation of some kind of delusion.

Yeah - I don't understand the whole convoy thing. Surely an SUV or people carrier with blacked out windows would have space for kids, a parent/nanny and one or two bodyguards?

I think this security team must be padding their bills by convincing gullible HAM that they need US Presidential style motorcades on the school run.

There are quite a few influencers with legitimate, successful businesses who are parents at Dragon. I know this because I follow them on social media and they post about sports day etc and tag each other. They are titled and stately home posh too. There is no way they will be told not to post about their own lives thank you very much.

I simply cannot imagine W and C behaving like that .

I don’t think they have done, when you google it it says there is an ‘expectation of mutual respect amongst the parents with regards to students,privacy’. the only privilege is being allowed to drive directly into the premises for security reasons. Catherine and William are very involved in the school apparently.

Honestly? No crime's been committed. The other parents will all also be paying the fees, so who does the school want to annoy, one set of fee payers, or all the others?

I'm with @SanguineAutumnalCrow on those directives - just don't believe it. & If had been me now rather than 25 years ago , if Steve or Dave had asked me to put down my phone when I was trying to wrestle DS's book bag , sports bag and a rocket made out of a kitchen roll tube as a fun start of term project into the back of my small hatch back, whilst trying to listen on silent to a work conference call I might have told him where he could shove his convoy.

If only they had not fallen out with Trump they could have asked him whether they could buy the Beast when he gets a new one 😊
