It occurs to me that either
A) the private security firm aren't very good, or
B) they are giving good advice, but H & M aren't taking it.

Let's face it, Harry's beloved mother had private (Fayed) security on the night of her death, and it's fairly well-established that if she'd not given up her Royal protection then there's no way she have been allowed into that car, with that driver (in fact, they'd probably have told her not to leave the Ritz at all). Is this why H is so desperate for official security??

I don't understand putting such personal photos on Instagram.

It isn't fair on the child.

Here you go:

Thank you, that’s very interesting insight.

There are TEN of the very top security experts in the country on the RAVEC committee who assess the level of threat and security requirements needed. He made a very good point about so many MP’s who are at potential risk in this country, particularly women, who have more need for security than the Sussex’s.

I think we can all be reassured a proper job will be done by RAVEC and H&M’s shenanigans will not influence one way or another.

They haven't consented. It's so unfair.

Thank you @SqueakyDinosaur , much appreciated!

H&M are going to end up creating a destructive/dangerous self-fulfilling prophecy and ultimately that will be on them and not on the absence of bells & whistles armed security.

My children are of the age where they would be mortified if such pictures existed

It isn’t fair on this child either. How did we all miss the one in the bottom left of the kissing photo?

Edited

I would hope that RAVEC point out to HaM that they are putting themselves at risk by putting on SM where they live.

It's already been pointed out by the former head of royal security. I bet he has got permission to do this from the powers that be. Another shot across the bow to say we know what your game is.

Starryfifty · Today 12:20

Their parenting is being slated over this but I genuinely don't think they care tbh. There'll be a ferocious clap back shortly no doubt

She was an adult, got into a car with someone who had been drinking and also no seatbelt. There’s no way to stop that unless they’re put ion seatbelt restraints they can’t open themselves. Personal responsibility isn’t in the Sussex vernacular even though those in the know point it out!

StormGazing · Today 12:30

…. Also IF armed police look after their security is it ok for them to be I. Harms way due to the Sussex desire to be relevant and flaunting themselves over SM

The lack of a cycling helmet and the bouncing around on a quad bike are bad enough but it was the lack of life jackets on water that really hit me.
Sailing has always been our family hobby and the DCs were doing it from 5-ish upwards.
You don't go on the pontoon without a life jacket, let alone on a boat. It's foolish beyond measure to mess about like that.
Sure, no helmets, no life jackets all make for a better picture...

prejudiceandpride · Today 12:41

its almost as though they WANT something to happen to them or their kids so they can then go SEE???

Yes, they don't seem to understand basic safeguarding.

Exactly and it wouldn't surprise me if they do stage something

@DancingFerret Was the interview today with Dai Davies? I’ve searched and can’t find anything. Do you have a link please? 🙏

No link. It was on the rolling BBC television news channel this morning (Channel 231) along with other current items, e.g., Letby. They might still be running it.

DancingFerret · Today 12:47

jeffgoldblum · Today 10:53

Hang on ferret !! The Dai Davies who is used by supporters to bolster hams security claims based on information he gave years ago, that dai davies?

I confess he wasn't on my radar until this morning, but having googled him - yes, that Dai Davies.

She had also created a media whirlwind around her by egging on the press. If she hadn't, there would have been no speeding through tunnels.
This whole situation that Harry has re/created is quite grotesque.

DancingFerret · Today 12:52

@TheRealHousewife the Sky News version was posted upthread at 1204 hrs.

Starryfifty · Today 12:53

Why is Archie floundering around in the background???

It is, absolutely. Diana loved to play games with the press.

Whole picture is weird. Them snogging in a vineyard with their son mooching around? The perspective seems weird too. Archie is tiny but surely he's not that far away?
