4 photos with Lili, but just 1 with Archie.

And this is a regular sort of thing. Lili is clearly the golden child. Poor Archie.

Think about the difference in their names. Very telling.

Sorry about the multiple posts! It wasn't updating.

This is just a bloody great fabricated fiasco to get security. Cooked up by the pair of them.

They will already have security. RAVEC may not have had a formal review but they will have been monitoring them and assessing their risk and how much security they needed since they arrived. It may be that their assessment is that it is sufficient security to carry on monitoring intelligence and perhaps some discrete oversight. RAVEC would certainly know if they weren’t in the country!

IcedPurple · Today 11:12

It didn't happen.

No one sticks their kids into a posh school in a new country for 2 days and then moves them to another posh school.

IF the kids are even over here (AI videos anyone?) (maybe a reason why the video's soooo cringy and stereotypicaly and try hard English countryside with deer and wellies and a roaring fire in an unseasonably warm Sept ffs) they'll be home schooling on their online school as usual.

This is just a bloody great fabricated fiasco to get security. Cooked up by the pair of them.

''Lets quickly do the whole 'move back' thing, pretend the kids are having trouble re:security getting to school. Then if it all goes well we'll be royal again !! and if it goes tits up we can monetise the flounce back overseas! Win win!!''

And we're all falling for it.

I do think they are all in England. We did see that massive private jet in Birmingham Airport. But I think you might be right that the 'switching schools' thing didn't happen. Even by their bizarre standards it makes no sense. There's only a small number of schools they can go to, and I doubt they just accept two new pupils mid week.

Whatever is going on, it's disgraceful how they are exploiting their children to try to manipulate scarce taxpayer funded resources. I wish they'd just go back to California. I thought they had a blissful life there and would never return to Salt Island?

Undoubtably the security people they hope to influence could check this very easily

If the children aren't here the security services must know and will have known it all along. Presumably they went through immigration when they arrived here? And easy enough to check whether they did attend a school in Oxford. RAVEC has probably been two steps ahead of them all along.

BasiliskStare · Today 11:14

Checking out the schools , including the commute is surely parenting 101. How many threads have there been with people asking advice - School A - XYZ advantage but 45 min commute vs School B - Y and a little bit of Z advantage . (I may not have explained that well , but I hope you get my drift.) It's part and parcel of it. Now I know some who live in some areas aren't given a choice and length of commute isn't an option. My point is Ham obviously had options and they didn't do the proper research. Idiots. If they left it to their security team without quizzing the team . Idiots. Again I say this is either a stunt or just bad parental decision making. & yes if you are so concerned about your DC's security , stop drawing attention to two children of parents who have no real constitutional significance. It isn't needed apart from your own agenda , whatever that may be. Without M's constant postings I wouldn't even know what colour hair those children had. & nor should I.

Right. Morning coffee time methinks 😂☕

GroundCloves · Today 11:16

If the school have space and they fit the academic profile of the school then the school certainly would accept them. Not many private schools can afford to turn down pupils. Lots of children arrive at private schools after the start of term for numerous reasons.

Harshreality · Today 11:20

Long time ham lurker. I know it has already been raised but I can't believe there's no helmet on Lili on the bike and I can't believe they are on that quad bike. Absolutely no regard for safety from parents who are apparently obsessed with safety and security. It just leaves a bad taste, like play acting parenting without the obvious day to day trauma that a parent goes through worrying about their little ones. All just for show. Horrifying

diddl · Today 11:20

Posters have been talking about this being the start of a separation & M leaving the kids here with H.

I didn't think she would.

But with all this nonsense about moving schools, even if not true, it does seem to show that she really doesn't give a damn.

Well, neither of them seem to & I can see how "posh" English schooling for them might appeal.

They may arrive at school late. But that doesn't mean they didn't book the places until 2 days into term.

I take your point that private schools won't turn away pupils if they have the space. But I still think the story is a crock. It's just them exploiting their children for their own ego trip. Horrible people.

It does make me think of the tragedy of Iris Goldsmith, the daughter of Ben. She was killed in a quad bike accident. Just 15, horrific for the family.

l always think of this poor little girl whenever i see a quad bike. Iris was the niece of Jemima Khan who was good friends with Diana. Words fail me.

I think schools would turn down Harry & Meghan, to protect other families from the chaos they bring. The schools they are looking at are the most exclusive of the exclusive so I doubt the VAT issue is a deal breaker for the parents they attract.

This has really pissed me off I have to say.

obviously it’s all a ploy to try and force the security issue, but if I thought this pair couldn’t sink any lower then I was wrong.

I mean what kind of fucking idiots pick a school in a city - notorious for congestion - that’s a 30 minute drive from their temporary house outside of rush hour, and are surprised that it’s busy for school drop off?

The convoy - complete joke. completely unnecessary. Stuck in traffic and being sitting ducks?

I mean if you’re in one car with blacked out windows, nobody is going to know who you are or give the slightest damn about it. Even less so if you didn’t make a fuss to out both the location of the house you’re staying at or the school your kids are going to.

Their levels of arrogance and self importance really know no bounds. They just don’t want the inconvenience of having to wait in traffic like “normal” people.

I will be beyond furious if RAVEC grant them publicly funded security, even more so when they are evidently going out of their way to try and manufacture risk to get what they want.

I did notice in the reporting it says they’ve been told that this review doesn’t mean they’ll be granted security, so I fervently hope that it’s a box ticking exercise to try and put the thing to bed once and for all. After all, if the review done for Harry in July only determined on giving him the phone number of a police liaison officer on visits here, it’s hard to see how that suddenly escalates to requiring anything like full time security just because he’s now resident again - and to do so would mean treating him differently from all the other members of the RF with a precedent long set that security is only provided for official engagements apart from the King and the direct heirs.

Hopefully they’ll tell them to piss off and the pair of them will flounce off again. I was finding their antics somewhat amusing when they were over in the states but now I’m utterly sick of hearing about them.

Agree with all of this. Plus if they do get security this will be more tricky than for the other Royals such as W&C who live in Windsor within an area that is already secured. H&M living in loaned/rented home will make it more complex to secure especially as I assume Ian Wace already has decent private security for his place so there would potentially be a conflict of interest between the two teams.
On the plus side I’d like to think professional government provided security will determine there is no need for a convoy on a school run and make the decisions related to this.

Whether they would wish to turn down HAM is a different matter, but if there are spaces they would seek to fill them regardless of the ease with which some parents can pay the bill.

All these candid snaps are suddenly less sweet when you ask ‘who took the photo?’

Exactly.
When you stop to consider how they are obviously spending their private time with their children staging content for instagram its not sweet but very disturbing.

Either they are making the kids take video, or they are getting someone else to follow them around and then proceeding to pose affectionately while instucting the children to 'frolick'.
It's a depressing way to live.

BasiliskStare · Today 11:38

One more point about H's dreadful PR. Ravec will decide what they decide ( as far as I know how it works ) . H's strops via spokespeople will not change a thing. It seems to me that H getting tax payer security is not popular. If he gets some ( which will not be by H's foot stamping ) what he gains in not having to pay in security I think he might well lose in popularity (and lets face it in the UK by all accounts H&M don't have much popularity to lose at the moment ) . Had they done all of this under the radar they might have stood a better chance of making a fresh start. Now that's just my opinion. However as a private individual , like H , I am exercising my right to express it. Luckily for everyone it is not on a world stage 😂

Isn't it? The children should just be allowed to play and relax without it being for the camera and publication.

As life wasnt difficult enough for schools with pushy parents without those two. Imagine Meghan if Lilibet doesnt get the lead in the school nativity or if Archie is a mere shepherd rather than a King, it would be a nightmare.

Maybe Ravec’s input could be to give their personal team a 3 day immersive course on how to assess British traffic.

’Small team’ my ass, Harry had at least 5 personal bodyguards plus a driver, (no doubt a trained security chauffeur too) when he was doing his little PR exercise in July.
