Could someone please explain to me how Harry and Meghan’s return to the UK will work out.
They’re very unpopular with the British public.
Unless Doria moves over to the UK, Meghan has no family support.
Harry has burned so many bridges with his family.
His friends, those that are remaining, will have to choose between supporting Harry or supporting William and apparently they have had quite a aristocratic friends in common.
William will be the King so I presume he will be supported by many of those mutual friends.
Will the first cousins, George, Charlotte, Louis, Archie and Lilibet ever meet up ?
Apart from probably funerals.

Many people on MN do choose humorous, ironic or satirical usernames and some are very witty and amusing. I think it’s probably rare to choose a user name which has sad or highly sensitive connotations and slightly risky.

I suspect this is ‘conscious uncoupling’, I.e. they’re going to have Harry here with the DCs because he’s persona non grata in the USA after lying on his visa application and his visa is expiring. Meghan’s going to carry on flogging runny spread etc in Monteceito and only appearing over here if there’s an opportunity to exploit for $$$$
I don’t think she has any intention of moving to the soggy Cotswolds where she won’t fit in with all the old money, landed gentry.
Harry will try to worm his way back into the fold, hopefully unsuccessfully as no one will trust him ever again.

Let's be honest you do post a great deal and you have a name which is topical for these threads. It's easy to see why someone might make an assumption. It's like being on a thread about Lucy Letby and a poster called Killerbabe. 🤷‍♀️ and yes you did start a fan thread about Meghan and until recently constantly told people off about their posts.

Its my choice to pick a username thay means something to me. Not sure why you think you need to have an opinion on it at all. Its how you go about asking someone, you could of asked in a more gracious way in the first place rather than just assume because you just never know. That's my point. Anyway we clearly have different ways of doing things so lets leave it there.

I hold no opinion on Harry and Meghan but I recall a statement from the-then Met police chief he made when they announced they were leaving the UK.
He said he had seen ‘credible threats’ against Meghan’s life.
(This was before the interviews and, of course ‘Spare.’)
There are unhinged people out there who clearly hate them, or more particularly, her, for the crimes of a/being American and b/an actress.
Harry is of course a British citizen and can return if he wants - I’m not sure if he can be forbidden to do so. Although I suppose he could be dissuaded.
Might be the safest option, the children could still go to boarding school in the UK. Harry was himself a boarder at Eton.

There have been, and there continues to be, "credible threats" against many members of the Royal Family, politicians and celebrities. Taxpayer funded security is allocated according to risk.

Yes, there’s a Soho House element there as well, which might be more her bag. I think it was at the Cotswolds Soho House that she and Giles Coren cooked up the rumour about William and Rose Hanbury. Despite the awful GC admitting this, the rumour gained traction and is still an article of faith for the SS.

I think one thing she and H might have to get used to at eg the village / school fete is they will be expected to dig their hands in their own pockets and buy raffle / tombola tickets , actually buy something from the auction of promises etc. Showing up and doing good by just being their own fabulous selves won't cut it like some of the LA etc shindigs they've been to 😊

It also wasn’t true that Harry’s father ‘cut him off’ (fgs) and it wasn’t true that she had her passport taken away. It wasn’t that she was offered no help and it wasn’t true that she was refused help.

In fact Harry and Meghan directly contradicted each other during that same Oprah interview.
