What more summer shenanigans await us from the Montecito duo?

Oh why did they remove the laugh reaction?

AnAutumnCrow · Today 17:46

Might I suggest that posters don't even respond to the unpleasant posts that are now incoming, and report any that break Talk Guidelines?

Thank you.

Still there!

Perhaps they actually took note of some of the comments we all made on that disappearing thread a few days ago.

Not entirely sure! , I had two poofs for less!
apparently mn only look if reported, so it does seem a tad pointed! 🤔

I find it quite telling because if the issue really was the awards process and the submission fee, then the same criticism applies regardless of who was nominated. The fact that the reaction seems so different depending on who is attached to the project is what stands out to me. People can have their own reasons for disliking Meghan or the show, but when people are making comments that she has bought the nomination ignoring the fact it will have been Netflix who paid the submission fee it looks like a biracial woman is accused of "buying" a nomination while a white man with a programme that includes a Royal member is accepted as part of the normal awards process, the optics of that contrast is difficult to ignore for me. What else could be the reason for not applying the same criticism if not that? Its either anyone submitting is buying a nomination or they all aren't.

Don't try and make this into a racial issue. The simple fact is people don't like Meghan, due to her actions not her skin colour, and are therefore unlikely to support her. People like William, and whilst the nomination is not in his name, it was an excellent programme, and the success was partly down to his personality.

No I haven't, because I'm not that invested in the Emmy nominations issue. But I'd be interested to know what elements of that were not met by the Eugene Levy William interview, that would make people think it's not a worthwhile nomination. Otherwise I don't see what point you are trying to make about double standards? As I said before, people's incredulity about WLM being nominated came from the general opinion that it wasn't very good.

It should also be pointed out again that this is a nomination for a daytime Emmy not a prime time Emmy , two different things .

the category that Meghans show is in won’t even be televised.

One was a shit programme, one wasn’t. That’s why.

Why aren’t you honing in on male versus female? Or British versus American? Or billionaire versus married to a millionaire? Why biracial versus white?

This should help explain the difference and apologies I’ve been informed that they don’t broadcast any of the daytime emmys now.

H still considers himself a working royal. I'm not sure if he's so thick, he didn't take it all in at the Sandringham summit or it's just his way of grifting. That will not change. He has said he would like his children to have the option to be working royals. How can he think this is possible? His brother will be monarch then.

I do think only way around this for PW in the future is remove the titles.

I don’t think it’s because he’s thick (although he is) or that he didn’t take it in at the Sandringham Summit. It’s that he’s thinking nobody can stop him from doing what he wants to do (which is, half in and half out), that Prince-ing is his birthright, that the world needs him to do this stuff and therefore it’s his duty. He really thinks these things.

And truthfully, the only way the RF can stop him from turning up in the U.K. to make hugely publicised appearances for his 2-3 charities is by doing a dirty deal with him (pay him off, threaten him with something - whatever). Which they can’t do because he’ll blab. So the future really will look like years of Harry doing what he did last week. It could change when William ascends the throne.

Meghan ‘felt a lot of sadness’ at missing UK events with Prince Harry

The Times playing for clicks again with straight reporting of the people article, knowing the BTL comments will explode.

And obviously they have deliberately selected a not especially flattering photo of M, but zoning in, there looks to be a scar on her nose and lumpy filler in her brow.
I’m one of those who think she was a genuinely beautiful woman who has taken Hollywood treatments too far.

It's not lumpy filler, it's a normal forehead of a 45 year old woman 🤣
God, mine has bumps like that. It's what foreheads do.

Quoting myself to add , it’s being brought up that it’s highly unusual for a show made by a prominent streamer like Netflix to be nominated for a daytime Emmy! , particularly in the category that it’s included in ( pitting it against a pet show made by pet food company purina !)

What more can he blab now though ?? Would anyone listen ?? We didn't really get much the last time. Lip gloss and dog bowls.

And the bulbous nose.
He really is a scruffy, isn’t he? Always looks like he needs a good barber and someone to sort out his wardrobe.

He really does. I actually think he looks well in those awards night photos but so often he’s just messy and wears the same mismatching trousers, shirt and shoes all the time.

AtIusvue · Today 18:26

So the DM article stating :

  • his security was upped and that Harry believes this will continue in the wake of Anne Widdecombe
  • that he is in contact with William
  • that he will get half in half out because he will get to stay on royal accommodation when here
  • That Harry n Meg realise that America isn’t interested in them

This is all clearly made up crap from Team Sussex

Not2identifying · Today 18:28

Very interesting article. Thank you @AtIusvue for archiving it.

I just can't believe that there is any official role for H (let alone M, A or L) after the gigantic regular tantrums of the last 6-7 years.

I really dislike H as a person so I really hope the palace clarifies that HIHO is still definitely not an option.

TheHatTrick · Today 18:29

Thank you. So they promised not to leak or friend but now “sources” close to them are leaking and briefing. They FaceTime with Charles all the time? I kind of doubt it. We would have already heard because it’s not possible for them to keep anything to themselves.
