I remember reading about her aims when she came to the UK in the summer of 2016. She tried to get a cookery show, but "didn't have enough expertise" according to her UK agent
She also aimed for "Made in Chelsea", or a housewives type show, but didn't get that either.
I think that's who she is. Someone on a reality show.

Thank you, I stand corrected. So there was no fall out. Perhaps the bridesmaids dresses were made by a more budget friendly brand.

She should have used JJ!

I don’t understand - what’s obvious - what am I missing here?

Whatever you are missing, I am also missing ! 🤷‍♀️

Exactly this. She seems to entirely lack a soul to me.

My understanding is that a fragile sense of self is one of the hallmarks of narcissistic personality disorder. There are some incredibly interesting youtube videos about narc tendencies in MM. I recently watched one about how she rearranges her expressions to match those around her after observing them because she does not have a reliable sense of empathy to situations she finds herself in.

I really am not a fan of MM and think she's quite ghastly but i do feel sympathy for her sometimes. I think she was treated diabolically by her step siblings before and post marriage.

But the behaviour she and PH have exhibited- the whole victim narrative and the throwing of others under the bus, bullying, viciousness etc- it's not edifying and I truly wonder about how the children will fare with those two - very fractured and damaged- people as parents.

They’ve gone bust now I think.

I'm not at all surprised

Good points. Meghan had the most incredible opportunity to get away from the past and create a fantastic new role - globally.
Think of what could have been done with that.

I've seen him presenting that Say Yes to the Dress wedding dress programme. I think he's gay these days too. Not seen her doing anything of note though.

I’m sure she sees. She just doesn’t care enough. They’re a means to an end, like everything else in her life, the end being untold riches and fame and obeisance. I suppose you could say she’s “adaptable”, if you’re being generous. She wears clothes like she dons personae. It didn’t go unnoticed by anyone that as soon as she moved to Montecito she started wearing old money (in fact, she was one of the influencers who started making them very much new money) names that the filthy rich old ladies of Montecito have been wearing since MM’s school days. Hence, also, the changing of the engagement ring so it resembled the rings of the women she aspires to join the ranks of. She’s a hustler, she will do whatever it takes to ingratiate and climb the greasy pole and give others the impression she’s arrived. She’s been doing it since she got her role in Suits, being who she aspires to be rather than who she is. I don’t think she gives two hoots about clothes per se. They, like Harry and the titles and the house and the deals and all the rest of it, are a means to an end.

Undine Spragg.

So we can say now that Diana’s wedding dress was a crushed meringue mess with a shit collar? Not too soon?

It was crap at the time and it’s still crap now!

I said it at the time. I vividly remember her getting out of the car and my mum, who was a talented dressmaker, asking who on earth would not check whether the fabric would crease before using it in such a high profile occasion. It's not as if the carriage size came as a shock.

Even at the time, in the middle of 80s fashion, I thought the dress swamped her and was far too fussy. Fergie's dress was equally of its time but it fitted and flattered her.

Portakalkedi · 24/04/2026 11:50

I have come round to thinking that I feel a bit sorry for this pathetic pair now. How sad to be so self-obsessed and up yourself, and feel so hard done by when in fact you are very wealthy and living in luxury, are fit and healthy, have two healthy children (although - excepting MM's mother - they no longer have other family due to their own actions). Many of us can only dream of being in that situation. Sad to not just accept your fantastic good fortune and get on with your life, in private, and mind your own business.

Contentment is a vastly underrated and marvellous thing.

Harry calling for more US involvement in Ukraine?

Why is he getting involved in this, especially with his father's upcoming US visit

HoldMyWine · 24/04/2026 14:18

Because he’s an attention seeking idiot.

Precisely because of his fathers upcoming visit I imagine.

But as he told us - he's an attention seeking idiot With A Platform. (He may have left the attention seeking idiot bit out) 😊

The Soros machine appears to be behind him, on this visit at least. Redditt sleuths claim that Open Ukraine is an offshoot of Soros's Open Society.

if I understand correctly, Soros is anti-facism and anti-monarchy. It would make sense that Soros would sponsor this move, a week before Trump meets the King.

If this is the case, then the RF is no longer playing chess against H, who thinks they're playing draughts like him. They are in a long-game chess match with another master player, and H is currently a mere pawn.

I find it quite incredible how much he chooses to be away from his children, particularly after criticising his own father. He was in Australia last week and now he’s in Ukraine. My dh, unlike H has to actually work for a living, has a job that involves a lot of travel. He has always travelled the bare minimum he can get away with as he doesn’t want to be away from me or the DCs unless absolutely necessary.

He's being used but is too arrogant and stupid (a dangerous combo )to realise .

I agree. H is constantly away when he doesn't need to be. A and L are still so young and they are away so often.

His parents were constantly away and even though he criticised this, he is repeating the pattern. Being away from your kids is his normal. His childhood was very fractured even before Diana died. Boarding school from eight and living in so many different palaces/castles/houses. He had no stability or roots.
