I suppose you could say she’s “adaptable”, if you’re being generous. She wears clothes like she dons personae. It didn’t go unnoticed by anyone that as soon as she moved to Montecito she started wearing old money (in fact, she was one of the influencers who started making them very much new money) names that the filthy rich old ladies of Montecito have been wearing since MM’s school days. Hence, also, the changing of the engagement ring so it resembled the rings of the women she aspires to join the ranks of. She’s a hustler, she will do whatever it takes to ingratiate and climb the greasy pole and give others the impression she’s arrived. She’s been doing it since she got her role in Suits, being who she aspires to be rather than who she is. I don’t think she gives two hoots about clothes per se. They, like Harry and the titles and the house and the deals and all the rest of it, are a means to an end.
