Here he comes

I think I might prefer to take my chances with lions and elephants rather than foxes.

All Those Glasses Empty 😵

That reminds me of those Apprentice episodes where the teams have to put on corporate activity days and they usually make a pig’s ear of the meals and never have more than a dribble of wine per attendee 😂

oh Meghan. You had at least 15 mins on the couch. You could have written a positive empowering speech about self-care for women without droning on about all the world’s faults against you. 🙄🙄 FFS.

Monteshitshow , M wrote a speech once , why bother again? Just keep using the same one. 😊

No, they stayed in one of those high end glamping places with air con and a butler. Who knows about the urinating episode, and why Harry felt it worthy of public documentation.

Reminds me of the MN 'urine trolls' for some reason, who seem to take satisfaction from the gratuitous descriptions of other people's peeing habits. Throw in the equally gratuitous descriptions of his and his brother's penises, and I think he's been getting all the wrong therapies in all the wrong sizes.

There’s an article in the Mail today written by a psychiatrist about MM and her victim hood but I can’t link to it.

So, apparently this is a photo of the girls' weekend goody bag. basically some flower sprinkles and a baseball cap, so you can dress just like Harry! "Her best life" logo included so everyone will know you were crazy enough to spend over 1k on this

As ever

Boak.

....they usually make a pig’s ear of the meals and never have more than a dribble of wine per attendee

Basic arithmetic? Assuming one standard glass each, no of attendees ÷ 4 or 5 = no. of bottles needed?

I thought she did, @BasiliskStare? Or perhaps i'm just not paying enough attention and they all sound the same?

Using voices - blah blah - empowerment - word salad - poor me - cliche - family anecdote - self serving twaddle - Proctor & Gamble story .....

😂😂 tbh the woman who paid $3k and had that money to burn wouldn't touch the crap in the goodie bag, it's just tat, not even displayable collectables.

They got a book mark. It's like winning the lottery. The £2.50 prize.

bluegreygreen · 19/04/2026 14:57

Thank you @Puzzledandpissedoff (and @Jellybelly80) - that's a really good description from the psychiatrist of the harm the wrong type of therapy can do (and the potential harm to those vulnerable young people that Meghan was meeting).

@bluegreygreen I found it spot on.

For 3k I would at least expect a designer perfume, I get better goodie bag if I pop into Guerlain or Chanel in Paris, perfume, make up, make up bag and a logo item. From a purchase of just £100
Last time I was in Harrods getting perfume I got 20ml freebies and about 100gms of chocolate samples with my Charbonnel & Walker.

That bag is just shiite.

Edited to add: or at my nearest town beauty outlet (Laval)

Footage of the tail end of the retreat, less than 50 people there I would say.

How embarrassing for her, there were more people than that when I did a garage sale.

Bottom line on the tour from a PR agent:

“The media has written about it a lot,” says Markson. “And that’s good.
“Whether it’s been negative or positive, it doesn’t matter; they’ve made a noise.”

I am not a PR expert, not even a novice. But it seems counterintuitive to me that negative publicity is a good thing. OK I can see it keeps them visible , but there's a balance surely?

ETA - that cartoon you posted about the self pity BlueGrey is fantastic.

Indianrollerbird · 19/04/2026 16:46

I think they are firmly in the realm of “my truth“. Remember what Harry said in Spare about his version of events being just as, if not more valid than, anyone else’s objective truth.Their subjective interpretation of how the Australia junket went trumps the objective facts of small crowds, small attendances, and cynical self promotion. In their minds, they were a roaring success and that’s all that matters to them. They feel good about how they were received, and that’s all that matters. Unfortunately, the hospital they visited, the military that allow them to carry out quasi Royal ceremonies and everyone else in Australia who greeted them as Royals have simply added to their feeling that they are wanted and needed and that they are on the right path, irrespective of whatever was agreed in the Sandringham agreement. With a press pack with an agenda behind them, they can continue the charade that half in half out is what the public wants for them, and their only opposition comes from “trolls “ and palace insiders.

Surely invitations will fizzle out if they only make negative noise?
