That dreary ‘Her Best Life’ event - if it only sold 85 tickets to paying attendees and M’s fee was £120k, it’ll barely break even. Assuming that a chunk of the sold tickets weren’t VIP, it’ll actually lose money.

This was on a Norfolk beach (having dear friends in the area I'd taken my lad down there) and I was very impressed that she had excellent knowledge of a couple of local isssues I raised - which obviously couldn't have been rehearsed

The security guys were very discreet, though they must have been there somewhere, and she didn't turn to them for ready cash ... I offered to get the kids an ice cream and she fished out her purse out to insist on paying (I refused of course )

So basically seems to be a variation on the 'Woe is me', 'media trolls', 'you go girl!' spiel she's been doing for 7 years now. How banal.

As several of us have said, she's really going to have to up her game if she wants to make this kind of thing into a lucrative earner in the long term. Not only does the event appear to have been far from sold out, she did a 'blink and you'll miss it' appearance and just rehashed the same 'speech' that she's done a million times already, making everything all about her. That's not a viable career plan.

Otherwise how would she know she's so 'trolled'? Her own social media has comments turned off so she'd actually have to make a conscious effort to find out what people are saying about her.

And more to the point, why care? She has an adoring husband, two healthy children, plenty of money and the fame she had always wanted. Why make such a big deal over what some anonymous bore on Reddit is saying about you?
