Beatrice and Eugenie banned from Ascot

Beatrice and Eugenie have been banned from the royal box at Ascot and from royal events in the foreseeable future. That's according to a headline in the Daily Mail. A little part of me feels a bit sorry for them as they're not their parents. I don't like them much but they do seem to symbolise all that's wrong with the royals. Money and immense wealth and priviledge for very little return.

To be fair to Beatrice, she auctioned her hat off to charity.

B & E are employed by companies using their own talents. The Royal Family can have/invite whoever they want to their Royal Ascot box, as can the other box holders. They may or may not ride in the carriages down the course, that is etiquette within the Royal household.

None of this is up to the Daily Mail who have their own axe to grind and want to fill and sell newspapers.

I would put them at averagely wealthy. There are people who have far wealthier lifestyles paid for by their parents who have a far dodgier past than Andrew and Sarah

What does this mean? who are we talking about here?
If you have read all about Andrew and Sarah they are exceedingly dodgy so I have no idea who you are talking about. Other Royals do you mean? How do you know how wealthy B&E are?

I hope the two named charities got the full c. £40k each that was implied from the press coverage.

Meghan is anti Kate and thus man child Harry is now anti Kate.

Eugenie is still friendly with them both when other members of the family are not and have drawn a line after H&M’s conduct which includes calling Kate a racist and portraying her as mean and nasty.

I think this fits with Eugenie being rude to Kate in the past ie she is happy to see Kate mocked and smeared.

Harry was indeed very close to Kate pre Meghan but has happily turned his back on her much like he has dine to his brother and his father in order to pander to MM.

To be fair there are very few working royals now - Charles and Camilla, Wills and Kate, Anne, Edward and Sophie. I think the Gloucesters, Princess Alexandra and the Duke of Kent turn out occasionally, but they are all in their 80s. However, there probably needs to be a curtailing of the Grace and Favour properties and equitable tax arrangements.

I think they're banned from the carriage parade, they can still go into the Royal Enclosure but I doubt we'll see photos of them chatting with the rest of the Firm.

Multiple pictures show they mingled with Eptein, even visiting him days after release from prison. They were fully grown women who chose that association. The saying you are judged by the company you keep....we all tend to have things in common with friends. They tainted themselves.

They all behave as to where the wind blows from.

I'm also banned from the Royal Box at Ascot. But unlike Beatrice and Eugenie I also don't have a free luxury central London home and virtually unlimited money. So I don't feel sorry for them in the least even if it's not really reasonable for them to be punished cos of allegations against their dad.

They are all corrupt. What on earth might come out about Charles with all his friendships with paedophiles. Maybe it can’t come out as he is our ‘king’.

Isnt one of them married to a billionaire?

I agree that William is likely a brutal person - we are constantly told how he’s in a violent rage.

I’ve also heard several sources that suggest William has a temper.

To the royal brown nosers who can’t cope with this - the monarchy won’t survive all this stuff with Andrew which shows them to be overseers of a cesspit (at best).

They will be gone after William, to be no doubt replaced by some other parasites.

I think the problem is more that they used to accompany Andrew to many countries such as UAE and the Stans when he was trade envoy - and the tax payer funded them of course. One of the girls had 17 holidays in her first year at work - where did the money come from? Eugenie been in Dubai recently and apparently the RF aren't happy.

I haven't heard that particularly, but I did read an article years ago that said William was quite an ill humoured curmudgeon like his father. That's always been in the back of my mind whenever I see him on the news.

Well the thousands of people who go every year would disagree with you. We go precisely because of the the dressing up, as it’s the only time we get to do it, and love it!

Seriously though, I felt a bit sorry for them in the early days as it’s not their fault their parents are a couple of greedy, sleazy out of touch arseholes. It still isn’t their fault but there’s already been a bit of digging about them, their lifestyles and who is or has previously been paying for it all. And it seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. They didn’t have to follow in the footsteps of their parents, they chose to. They’re adults and they could have made different, better choices and avoided doing the same/similar as Andrew and Fergie.

That said, I can’t be arsed with the rest of the royal family either, even before all this. Trying to pretend that they had no idea at all what Andrew was up to, none at all. I don’t believe that. His disgusting attitude alone towards staff or anyone he perceived as such, seems to have just been accepted by the rest of them as one of those things. Makes you wonder how the rest of them treat their own staff. Due to ironclad NDAs we’ll probably never know for sure. The “sources” who outed Harry and Meghan probably weren’t ex staff.

So yeah, throw the lot of them in the tower imo.

Apparently that party/fancy dress thing was the other way round - it was Kate's party.

I'm glad that this is still all rumbling along and not conveniently being overshadowed by events in the ME.

Over £81k was paid on eBay apparently, split between UNICEF and Children in Crisis.
