Beatrice and Eugenie banned from Ascot

Beatrice and Eugenie have been banned from the royal box at Ascot and from royal events in the foreseeable future. That's according to a headline in the Daily Mail. A little part of me feels a bit sorry for them as they're not their parents. I don't like them much but they do seem to symbolise all that's wrong with the royals. Money and immense wealth and priviledge for very little return.

As for the Easter parade of Royals, I don't think for one minute Beatrice or Eugenie would turn up. Mind you, I thought that about the Christmas walk and there they were in full force.

The Wales's didn't go last year, they stayed in Norfolk, who knows if they will be there this year. Maybe without any Yorks, they will.

I think they'll have been told to stay away but I wouldn't put it past them if they thought there was a way they could wangle it.

I am now imagining a tussle at the church gates, that will be fun!

I'd break the rule of a lifetime and stand in the crowd to see that 😂

How will the RF (mainly KC3) let the 2 women attend private family events without being spotted and publicly criticised? Do they sneak in through back doors if they join the K&Q for tea? Or am I missing the point and they're actually being totally ostracised?

Well we don’t see any of them 95 percent of the time when they are not doing public events - it’s very rare to see them going in and out of private residences - even if the paps are waiting and trying to photograph each vehicle going in and out of the different residences all you would need is a blacked out vehicle etc.

If you think about things like the Christmas walk - they could just not do the church service and still attend Christmas lunch without anyone knowing.

Going back to this original story - it’s a speculative anonymous source based article - probably a good guess, if I was advising on PR I would stress that it would be very unwise to have the senior royals publicly socializing with the Yorks right now as though nothing has happened.

But we don’t know how that affects their private relations and interactions.

More woes for Beatrice according to the DM . There have been rumours circulating on X for weeks about her marriage . If what is being said is true then I feel very sorry for her. Could someone archive please ? I know I have been told how but I keep messing up !

Me also. I hate how the DM uses 'sources'... a source said this, a source said that, it is probably (hopefully) absolute bunkum. He is away on a work trip so that means their marriage is in trouble, a story to be made up there by the DM.
