Thomas Markle very ill

I've just read Thomas Markle is in hospital intensive care. He has been treated poorly by Meghan. I doubt if the pair will have anything to say about this. Though they've always plenty to say about a lot of things. Doubt they'll be rushing to his bedside.

Well , she was forced to spend much of her childhood on the set of " Married with Children"...

TM is a similar age to my df, who is pretty sharp mentally and physically healthy. However we have noticed he doesn’t cope well with new situations. He doesn’t like being out of his comfort zone. TM was living a quiet life in Mexico and suddenly he was being pursued by the world’s press, with no support. That must have been stressful for him. The whole experience must have affected his mental health.

Can you detail the abuse the RF subjected her to please. I'd be interested to learn more.

I just think he was catapulted into a situation no one would be able to deal with well. Especially an elderly man in poor health living like a recluse. Who had never met his future son in law.

When and where have H&M discussed horrible abuse MM suffered at the hands of the RF? And what did they say? I have no recollection of H&M doing this - where and when did you see this?

I recall MM relaying a conversation to OW that has been relayed to her 2nd hand about unnamed members of the RF speculating about the shade of any future children’s skin from years before and her conclusion that this indicated racist dialogue from a racist family which is her absolute right. And then her husband very intentionally rowed back on this conclusion and minimised it to unconscious bias?

Who forced her to issue a statement?

Probably why the poor chap had a heart attack in the run up to the wedding. He was treated shabbily by his daughter and future son in law.

His heart attack was probably more to do with him being obese.

I watched a bit of Meghans Xmas show - she talked a lot about family Xmas traditions.
she grew up with her father didn’t she? So presumably many of those traditions were with him.

Like the 'dopamine hit' they get when they blab on Winfy, many media interviews, books, reality shows? I wonder if they have ever taken a look at themselves. I think not.

As an aside I do not get a 'dopamine hit' to state facts that these 2 being nc with her df is the height of hypocrisy after everything they have done.

Obesity is of course a contributory factor, as is the massive stress he was under caused by the media spotlight these 2 clowns shone on him without even getting together first face to face to work out some kind of plan. Nope, telly interviews and photo shoots took priority

Everything about her is phoney

Even her dm only flew in a couple of days before the wedding, which suggests she wasn’t much involved in the wedding preparations.

Still waiting to know what dreadful abuse the RF meted out to MM.

The fact that both Harry and Meg are no contact with their entire families is bloody weird.

M only has Doria. H has nobody.

I say this as someone who has gone NC with half of mine for a genuine history of abuse, who doesn’t usually judge but…..

i cant see what Tom did, and they proved themselves to be an lot worse in terms of airing dirty laundry. they absolutely would have spilled their guts if there was an actual reason. I’m not surprised he lived continents to get away because it must be horrible to live with. Same for RF but luckily they’re better off.

But equally, she may have felt too far gone to make contact. Perhaps they can repair now. Then again, it may be damage control.

It is an awful situation but I have some sympathy with her. Once the estrangement had happened making direct contact was always going to be difficult because of his son and other daughter. There would be concern that they would rush to the media whatever her Father wanted to happen.

A little bit like the concern of RF aides that any telephone conversation with H&M could be recorded and/or 'leaked'. When family relationships break down it is always a sad mess whoever is to blame.

According to the Markle family there has been no contact from Meghan or her staff .
