I've just read Thomas Markle is in hospital intensive care. He has been treated poorly by Meghan. I doubt if the pair will have anything to say about this. Though they've always plenty to say about a lot of things. Doubt they'll be rushing to his bedside.

Why say she has ‘instructed her aides’? I understand she may not even have her father’s current contact information and will need the help of staff to make contact. I actually think that saying publicly she has instructed her staff is to reiterate how important she is and therefore kind to make time to check on her father. Nothing is genuine with her.

I doubt she will do the mercy dash like PH did when he was informed of KC3 cancer as TM lives with his son in The Philippines and TM will Iikely be in a healthcare / rehab facility for some time to come with no opportunity for privacy.

Because she is a Duchess !! You don’t expect her to phone a hospital do you ??

And don’t forget he illegally published her letters, worked against her in court and called his granddaughter’s birthday celebrations “trashy”, yet he’s suddenly desperate to see his grandchildren? And he’s not bothered by seeing any of his other grandchildren

He didn’t illegally publish her letters (plural, are you aware of more than one).

First, as seen in Meghan’s emails to Jason Knauf, the letter she wrote to her father was written to be leaked.

Second, the letter was written by MM to her father berating him. TM didn’t say anything at first. The “5 friends” started leaking its contents and berating him some more. In response and to defend himself, TM gave part (and only part) of the letter to the DM. The DM then published it verbatim. And were caught out in court under copyright law as a result. Had the DM simply paraphrased the content, they would have been fine. Which is exactly what Omid Scobie did in Endgame with the letter Meghan wrote to Charles - the contents of which can only have come from the Sussex camp. One could surmise she has form for writing letters she wants to be leaked.

And H&M have done equally shit things to his family.

They really have no moral highgroumd whatsoever, so yes fine to be NC but it's Harry's bafflement and disdain that the RF keep their distance from him that is puzzling

This is also the same man who has never met his son in law - they never went to visit him before they went public which is hugely disrespectful. If they had done some of this may have been avoided. He was bombarded by the press and was like a rabbit in headlights.

He was not an absent father. He was in Meghan's life, was a professional cinematographer, lighting and photographer director, introduced her into the world of TV and acting and has actually done a lot for her.

If I were marrying into a world famous family and it was made clear to me that my every move would be scrutinised I'd have introduced my df to my dh to be well before it went public, well before their cheesy telly interviews then I'd have taken every bit of help offered and wouldn't have whined about it for years to come in various chat shows and reality shows.

H&M have discussed the horrible abuse she faced. For some reason, people seem to think that she should’ve put up with it because the perpetrators happened to be born into the royal family.

I think as she had to wear nude tights and a hat to events plus H wasn't allowed to set up a USA franchise flogging royal merch. Not to mention the sausage incident H endured in his childhood. All such horrid abuse.

Absolutely. This is clearly a difficult and deeply sad situation which nobody can possible know all the details of. I imagine it is very difficult for her to hear of her father's illness. You don't have to like her to empathise with the difficulties involved here.
Shame on everybody on this thread who is contributing made up, outlandish claims about her feelings and motives. She is a human being not a monster. Now, as well as dealing with all the conflicting feeling she will be having, she has been forced to issue a press release. If you are absorbing Daily Mail vitriol and writing spiteful messages online about somebody you don't know then you are complicit in the hounding she receives on a daily basis and you should know better.

My third oh please of this thread. She hasn’t acted very human to other people has she? For some very odd reason people refuse to believe that others have come to their own conclusions about H and H by using their ears and listening to what has come out of their mouths and not reading the daily Mail. It’s a very simple thing to understand. This pair are not the second coming.

I think the pp meant the scrutiny in the press which wasn't anything different to what the rest of the rf endured. Duchess of Pork being one nasty insult and we all know what Camilla experienced.

Thomas Markle had strokes and a heart attack. I'm not his doctor but his cognitive abilities may have been affected by his medical conditions. The whole hounding by the press probably didn't help. The whole situation is a mess but people seem to forget that he's been sick since the marriage.

What was the horrible abuse she received? I read today that Doria went " travelling" when her daughter was 11 years old handing her over to her father for the rest of her childhood. Is this it ?
