@JSMill - someone on another thread said that prolonged weed use can lead to paranoia.

There's an article in the DM saying that Harry and King Charles may meet when H is in the UK for the Wellchild Awards on 8 Sept. It is alleged that William will not meet him.

The best bit of this article was a source saying that William has expressed a determination not to be dragged into the headlines every time there's a new contract to promote. Spot on I would say.

KC is an elderly man with health problems, he loves his son and would understandably want to make things as right as possible.
William's stance, however, is also understandable.

Netflix really set her up to fail by filming both series simultaneously. Even editing can't fix all the things reviewers highlighted in the first series so it's just more of the same stuff that didn't land well initially.

100%. Last week I bumped into the mum of a friend of my ds (22) who I hadn’t seen since Covid. She told me he has cut his family off. He’s a heavy weed user who can’t hold a job down and is currently in a hostel. He blames his family and friends for his problems and is paranoid about everything and everyone. He can’t see how weed is affecting his life. It’s very sad.

I do think Meghan was very ill prepared for life in the RF , which Harry has to take the blame for. It just wasn't what she imagined, being a member of the RF is not the same as being a celebrity at all .
I think with her personality and Harry being blinded by love it was a disaster waiting to happen.

Doing two separate shoots would have cost way more. Given the reviews and viewing figures of the 'first' series, a subsequent one probably wouldn't have been commissioned if it had involved an entirely new shoot.

I think this is about all that Meghan has to offer. Like I said above, take away the royal allure and there just isn't much going on with her.

KC will probably still be in Scotland . If H does travel to Balmoral, I wonder if he will insist on high level security?

I definitely don’t think she had the mental resilience. Instead of maybe taking some accountability for having rushed into a marriage with no thought or preparation, she looked around for others to blame and became a professional victim.

I've been trying to think of another celebrity/personality who behaves like Meghan and to some extent Harry in their beliefs that their knowledge is insightful. I can think of a few with a specific area of expertise who may or may not be worth listening too but no one who wants to give the impression of fount of all knowledge. Compounded by having no real weight behind the words.

This victim hood gets on my nerves, what has happened to them that has been so truly awful, that warrants them continually moaning about their time in the RF . They left , they are apparently living their best lives, just shut up!

I don’t think she wasn’t prepared for royal life, she clearly wasn’t interested. She just wanted to do the good stuff and shop. I’m sure she probably was told, but thought she could just change the system to suit herself. I’ve worked with people like this.

Yet posters here on this board love to keep dragging up stuff from years ago too, her wedding, pregnancies etc. So its okay for people and the media to keep bringing up stuff from the past several years but when she does it its victimhood...and its so awful and irritating

They do on other threads on this board. Just because it hasnt on this thread doesnt negate the fact it does happen. Noone forces them or the media to keeping bringing stuff up.

Lots of stuff happens on other threads. There are hundreds of threads on MN. You have the wrong thread and you certainly have the wrong poster.
