Continuing the on from the As ever thread

  • Funny article from Jan Moir

https://archive.ph/UfTPx

  • Turns out Chrissy wasn’t the only known bully that Meg invited onto the show. David Chang has serious anger issues and has bullied staff

https://www.standard.co.uk/culture/tvfilm/meghan-markle-s-shameless-pr-stunt-with-david-chang-is-disgusting-b1244549.html

  • Megs new show hasn’t appeared in the Top ten on NF in the UK or US, which she had done for the first series. NF aren’t promoting it other that in the ‘new this week’ section. You also have to scroll along to find it.
  • No stock sold out yet

Meghan Markle’s shameless PR stunt with David Chang is disgusting

The first episode of With Love, Meghan season two has a nasty jumpscare

Real style is taking something high street and making it look expensive.
No style is taking a £2.5k dress and make it look unironed (cheap) high street.

Tbf to Meghan though, that style of dress (with the thick tie belt, halter neck and collar) will really only look fabulous on a 6ft tall, long torsoed, perfectly proportioned stick thin supermodel.

FitatFifty · 22/09/2025 16:55

She has a square body and skinny legs and dresses like someone who has a long slim body (like Catherine!). This is why she won’t ever look good because she won’t let someone else dress her in the right shapes.

She also unnecessarily shows off parts of her body, like her thighs, her chest, or wears the right underwear. Her dislike of stylists is bananas at this stage, all the best dressed famous women use them.

bluegreygreen · 22/09/2025 18:03

There's a photo somewhere of Meghan in a similar navy dress but it has cap sleeves, a V-neck and a wide fixed (not tied) belt - just those changes and she looks really good, as they suit her body shape much better

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 22/09/2025 18:38

She is slim, but looks tightly squashed into the bodice of this dress. Someone should tell her it’s better to go up a size and have someone who knows what they are doing to alter outfits to fit. And if you can’t be arsed to iron, don’t buy outfits that need to be pressed.

I wonder if it was a freebie and they would only offer her the sample, very small size?

Madchest · 22/09/2025 18:51

I wonder if it’s now sold out and the CH website has crashed!?!?!

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 22/09/2025 18:51

Probably. She must be furious that Catherine is naturally willowy and can wear just about anything, while she has to squash herself into whatever she can get her hands on and never looks groomed or what my mother would call ‘tidy’. It’s clearly a look she aspires to, but can’t pull it off. She’d be better off buying her own clothes that actually fit, and working on a style that suits her.

PullTheBricksDown · 22/09/2025 19:01

It's as if there's some kind of byelaw against ironing in the Montecito area. I can't understand why her outfits look creased so much of the time. They have staff.

Why would you give someone a freebie dress that made them look bad.

butterflyinmytummy · 22/09/2025 21:46

All of those criticising perhaps you should put pictures up of yourself to show your size 6 figures and 6 ft willowy frames. Endless posts’ full of jealousy aimed at this one woman. I really pity the lot of you.

I disagree. All you need is a long, slim torso relative to your height and a chubby arse. Long legged women with short torsos look fabulous in many things, but not in pretty much anything Ms Markle chooses to wear 🥴

Again, I disagree. Catherine has short legs but a long slim torso so looks amazing in skirts and, alas, anything with a belted waist.
Megan looks AMAZING in off duty clothes, such as jeans, which don't suit the PoW so much. Short legs, swamped by anything that isn't "skinny".
Obviously if be very pleased to have either of their figures, but they both suit very different styles, aesthetically.
If they are happy with what they are wearing then let them crack on. I often look like an old bag lady, but I admit it and my teenagers just roll their eyes. Lots of people honestly don't care 😀

Found it - apparently this was also a Carolina Herrera dress. It suits her a lot better - I think she looks great in this one.

Ah, thank you! I really don't need it though as I had said that style of dress doesn't suit me either, so not sure why I'd be jealous of someone else with the same problem! 😀

That's so much better! Yes she looks lovely in that. Bring that back into use!

I guess this is also the problem with photoshopping and reality too.

I’m not sure what posts you’re referring to. I am seeing comments saying she sometimes looks amazing but this style of dress isn’t right for her.

How is that jealousy?

I avoid commenting on personal appearance, but from the POV of the retailer it hardly makes them look good either if their designs are made to look awful

Ditto the mess made of the wedding outfits ... I'd love to know just what happened there, given this involved a leading name who can obviously produce much better

jamnpancakes · 23/09/2025 16:28

I think the line of the dress at the neckline was ruined by leaving it open at the neck.

Wow. Meghan looks fabulous there. Navy really suits her and the dress fits her beautifully. The cap sleeves and the lack of bunched up fabric look so much better.

I wonder if she feels it looks a bit old fashioned, but to me she looks very Grace Kelly, Old Hollywood.

Even Harry looks presentable!

Don’t be daft, Catherine does not have short legs! In fact we saw rather too much leg when she was first on the scene because she had a penchant for short dresses.

I agree she and Meghan Markle couldn’t be more different in shape and style so it’s
pointless to compare.

MM doesn't wear high end well but she looks fine in cheaper brands so I don’t know why she doesn’t stick with them.

NormaMajors1992coat · 23/09/2025 22:41

Those dresses are quite similar really but it’s amazing how much better the one with the sleeves suits her, she looks great in it compared to the sleeveless one.

Not2identifying · 25/09/2025 19:23

I always really liked that polo outfit, one of my favourite of her appearances.

NotMeghanMarkle · 26/09/2025 12:47

The outfit was great but those heels are a No No at Polo. Same as a No No in sports halls.

Not2identifying · 26/09/2025 17:37

I've never been to a polo match but, in the film 'Pretty Woman', I'm sure Julia Roberts wore heels and walked on the pitch to help aerate it, or something. Does that not happen in real life?
