I don't think that type of tie belt dress is flattering to her. If you're not a certain figure type you look dumpy, like you've gone out in your dressing gown. Before anymore tells me I'm being unkind, I am in this camp myself so have learned not to buy these dresses! Megs needs someone who'll tell her straight what doesn't suit her - she can look fabulous and has a good figure.

She needs a stylist and she needs someone to source her clothes that don’t crumble and decent underwear. She clearly likes to spend a lot of money on clothes that end up looking cheap.

Why she always chooses garments that tie in the middle and look like sacks, I don’t know. She has the wrong figure for that sort of garment. Not many people do suit huge tie waists on sack like dresses.
Sorry, just read the comment above that says the same thing! She has very thin stick like legs too which aren’t a good feature, but she often wears clothes that make them very obvious. Agree about the underwear. She always wears the same type of bra which appears to be strapless and can be seen under her clothes.

Just about sums up Harry and Meghan for me. Given everything on a plate, they can't help but alienate all their potential core audiences, sponsors and partners with their juvenile clowning around and other stupid activities.

I wonder if some of these stories are more examples of their habitual “say it’s happening and it will have to happen” approach. Like when they announced Meghan’s new relationship with Dior. Didn’t work then and was actually a bit embarrassing how quickly Dior issued their firm denial. And then announced the actress who played the PoW in the Crown as their new face of Dior 😬😂

I can’t imagine Charles and William will be bounced into anything they don’t want to do either, despite the relentless PR going on at the moment.

After reading all these posts, I now think all royal males should be told to avoid twice-divorced Americans. It never seems to bode well......

Meghan ties those dresses too high up as well which isn't flattering.

Meghan is an absolutely beautiful woman, but I really wish she would learn to dress for the body shape she has, rather than the one she wants to have.

That dress is awful.

She's short waisted so should be careful with the style of dress she chooses. Even if you are stick thin a belt with a big knot is sometimes unflattering , it would have looked better with a buckled belt.

No belt would have been even better. She has a boxy torso, so she makes the mistake of trying to create a defined waist by using a belt. All it does is add to the boxy shape.

That looks absolutely awful. Completely wrong. She mustn't have a mirror or if she does it's a magic one in Montecito.

It’s often like she’s deliberately dressing as badly as she can. Nothing looks right and she often dresses in completely inappropriate clothes, like the shorts and flip flops to lead a parade for Invictus. She has no idea about social norms.

I recall her wearing the poncho coat type thing to this event last year as the event was memorable due to her trying to take the microphone.

Real style is taking something high street and making it look expensive.
No style is taking a £2.5k dress and make it look unironed (cheap) high street.

As so often with Meghan, I liked it at first glance, but the more I looked, the more of a mess it seems. The colour really suits her and the top part was a good choice for her body type. But it's horribly creased, looks like it was just flung on, and as so many have pointed out, a belted dress is a terrible idea on a short waisted woman. Trust me, I know this from bitter experience!

She also seems rather overdressed for the event. And high heels on grass?

Gosh I agree, the dress looks lovely on the model but really unflattering on Meghan.

It’s bizarre because she is very very slim by anyone’s standards but the dress makes her look so boxy. She can look really elegant, I just don’t understand why she chooses some of the outfits she does.

I would, because it is exactly what happens to me when I buy something I've seen a model wearing. I put it on and it looks like a completely different item.

Buy Meghan is slim and pretty, she could look amazing with the right outfits.
