Continuing the on from the As ever thread

  • Funny article from Jan Moir

https://archive.ph/UfTPx

  • Turns out Chrissy wasn’t the only known bully that Meg invited onto the show. David Chang has serious anger issues and has bullied staff

https://www.standard.co.uk/culture/tvfilm/meghan-markle-s-shameless-pr-stunt-with-david-chang-is-disgusting-b1244549.html

  • Megs new show hasn’t appeared in the Top ten on NF in the UK or US, which she had done for the first series. NF aren’t promoting it other that in the ‘new this week’ section. You also have to scroll along to find it.
  • No stock sold out yet

Meghan Markle’s shameless PR stunt with David Chang is disgusting

The first episode of With Love, Meghan season two has a nasty jumpscare

So what if a company approached you and said a fre holiday for your family full vip experience if you promote it are you going to say no?

If they are happy to do this what is it to you? They arent doing it to convince. I wouldnt turn down a freebie either and I wojkdnt give two fuss what anyone thought.

People of people getting freebies from companies by promoting their products. Nothing wrong what that.

I wouldn't accept a Disney freebie because it is not my happiest place in earth. But I'd love a free holiday.

But I wouldn't use a royal title at the same time. Have all the freebies you like, but don't call yourself a royal Duchess at the same time. Pick a lane, celebrity or royal.

For what it's worth, I think they would be happier in the celebrity lane.

Meghan would like to be in the celebrity lane but not so sure about Harry who seems to yearn for his old life .

It is a problem for them. But if he wants his old life he needs to do more than a four day visit now and then. He needs to commit to it full time.

Oh but he's very happy to live off the fruits of her celebrity lane. He wants to be the half that's in; she wants to be the half that's out - and he, being the one whose family is the royal one setting out the rules - doesn't understand that he's not free to pick this radical and (what was the word they used?) progressive new way.

If there's one thing the BRF isn't, it's progressive!

Bloodymigraines · 18/09/2025 14:08

They can accept a free holiday if they like, but using the cover story that it was for their daughter's birthday is tacky.

Lunde · 18/09/2025 14:40

Aren't influencers meant to disclose that it is part of a brand endorsement rather than pretending to have splashed out for her dd's birthday

Yes they have to mark it as an AD to show it’s paid for content. She may be in breach of instagram guidelines!

ThePoshUns · 18/09/2025 15:01

a special cocktail containing marmalade was made for Trump at the banquet last night, and just hearing he was given some jam to take home at Chequers. Are they trolling MM?!

Thedom · 18/09/2025 15:20

And Melania brought honey from the White House.

I would 100% say no.

Also Megs and Harry can more than afford two days at Disney for crying out loud.
Completely embarrassing.

It shows how much their status has declined that they are now influencers accepting freebies for a good review

BigWillyLittleTodger · 18/09/2025 23:59

A lot of 100k and under UK Influencers promote Disney, one lives in my town, we will be seeing Meghan and Harry on a freebie Disney cruise next, but that’s her level, your average Instagram Influencer, what an absolute come down.

Will she be advertising Hello Fresh next week? 😂

Well she will .......... but she will claim they are all her own special recipes 🙄

Perhaps she launch the Meghan meal box in special keepsake packaging😂

Madchest · 19/09/2025 00:42

She’ll be advertising collagen.

The algorithm is swamping my feed for influencers flogging collagen.

NotMeghanMarkle · 19/09/2025 06:22

She must be over the moon that Costa Coffee have used her flower sprinkles on their new Autumn range drinks. Now that’s real influencing.

Some of us don’t crave attention. I don’t enter competitions that require me to appear on camera being ecstaticly surprised by my win. So yes, that is exactly the sort of offer I would turn down, especially if I had the money to pay for it myself. But I have principles and some self respect.

But those who choose to doesnt meant they dont have principles or self respect either. If you friend went on a tv show to win money would you judge them, would you tell them how little self respect they have and no principles to do that.

There is no right or wrong here. You're not better than those who do.

MrsLeonFarrell · 19/09/2025 08:24

Meghan and Harry's terrible timing strikes again. I'm trying to think of another celebrity who has had such a run of bad timing.

Did she pretend she paid for it? Whwre did she indicate she had? Or did she say they went to Disney for her daughters bday and you assumed they paid for it.

If a grandparent for it does she also need to disclose that.

If someone else paid for your holiday do you tell people of yes we went to Disney for my kids bday and my parents paid for it...yeah most people dont like to disclose their financial information so most wouldnt.

That’s a totally bogus and false equivalent argument.
