I doubt very much he’s as happy as he says he is. He has no purpose, no reason to get up in the morning. Disconnected from all his family apart from his Aunts and with few friends. His kids seem to be being brought up by Nannies. It doesn’t seem like a great life to me.

It doesn't sound as if he even listened to the boy's answer. If he had, a response like "That's good to hear" or something would have been appropriate instead of that non sequitur. He just wanted to push his own narrative.

A conversation? He was supposed to be congratulating the winner, not insulting the boy's brother. What kind of memory is that for the proud family? Oh, our son met PH and he criticised our other son without ever meeting him. Lovely.

My dad is in a position where he meets the RF quite a bit and has said the now King is a nice man and very well informed.

He used the kids sibling situation to try to get a few clickworthy headlines for himself, playing into his own well publicized sibling issues, knowing it would be reported on.

Agreed. There was no reason for him to discuss the winner's sibling at all – the focus should've remained on the winner's achievements. He's not entirely dumb – he knows any sibling comment would be picked up.

The fact it wasn't a sincere question (and just aiming for a soundbite) is obvious by his response to the boy's answer. Anyone just 'having a conversation' would have been pleased to hear that the brothers 'get on fine', and not need to make a snarky comment about siblings.

Is it just me or is the reaction to Harry's sibling comments quite muted? I know the Daily Mail reported on it but there seems less discussion on forums etc
