Continuing the on from the As ever thread

  • Funny article from Jan Moir

https://archive.ph/UfTPx

  • Turns out Chrissy wasn’t the only known bully that Meg invited onto the show. David Chang has serious anger issues and has bullied staff

https://www.standard.co.uk/culture/tvfilm/meghan-markle-s-shameless-pr-stunt-with-david-chang-is-disgusting-b1244549.html

  • Megs new show hasn’t appeared in the Top ten on NF in the UK or US, which she had done for the first series. NF aren’t promoting it other that in the ‘new this week’ section. You also have to scroll along to find it.
  • No stock sold out yet

Meghan Markle’s shameless PR stunt with David Chang is disgusting

The first episode of With Love, Meghan season two has a nasty jumpscare

I wonder if Harry is unconsciously trying to turn back the clock; he often retraces his footsteps...

I doubt very much he’s as happy as he says he is. He has no purpose, no reason to get up in the morning. Disconnected from all his family apart from his Aunts and with few friends. His kids seem to be being brought up by Nannies. It doesn’t seem like a great life to me.

If you’re on X then here’s a Harry update.

Even worse, he has announced that he will be making an announcement about announcing a donation he will make 😂😂😂.

Is that the Children in Need donation?

The boy from Oxted in Surrey won the inspirational young person 15-18 years award - and Harry was told he had a younger brother when the royal asked about siblings.

'Does he drive you mad?' asked the Duke, and Declan replied 'no, we get on fine' - and Harry quipped with a smile 'you know what - siblings'.

When told the 17-year-old and his brother went to the same school, the duke said 'you're at the same school, that sometimes makes it more challenging

From the WellChild awards- can he put anyone first?

Its all about him.

I feel like all these endless stories about rejoining the RF, visiting blah blah are just to keep reminding everyone that they are royal. They have nothing else, they keep having to force that connection.
When they went to the US they thought they would be celebs, A listers in their own right, not happened, so now doubling down on the royal thing.

💯

LaMarschallin · 09/09/2025 09:18

I read that too, RecoIIectionsMayVary.
It doesn't sound as if he even listened to the boy's answer. If he had, a response like "That's good to hear" or something would have been appropriate instead of that non sequitur. He just wanted to push his own narrative.
can he put anyone first?
It doesn't seem like it from that exchange.
And "quipped"?
It wasn't funny/witty and didn't even really make sense as a reply.

He’s completely and utterly self absorbed.

How about he pauses and reflects before he speaks?
It's about the person he's meeting. I'm sure he could find something to say that is about the other person. Maybe not, though.

A conversation? He was supposed to be congratulating the winner, not insulting the boy's brother. What kind of memory is that for the proud family? Oh, our son met PH and he criticised our other son without ever meeting him. Lovely.

My df is a raging republican and can be quite rude about the RF. Through his work in local government, he met Charles, Phillip and Anne. He had no time for C or P (said they didn’t have a f&”king clue) but Anne completely won him over. It was at a charity for deaf-blind children and he said she was absolutely brilliant with them. He still has the framed photo of him meeting her on the fireplace. She must have some charm to win over my grumpy father!

My dad is in a position where he meets the RF quite a bit and has said the now King is a nice man and very well informed.

I wonder if our dads are in the same kind of role? It would be funny if they were.

Weepixie · 09/09/2025 10:31

I’m not sure what Harry did wrong when speaking to you the young lad apart from trying to get down with the yoof and it not hitting the mark he hoped for.

Thedom · 09/09/2025 10:40

Harry was looking for a controversial soundbite to hit the headlines with the ‘does your brother drive you mad’ comment.

He used the kids sibling situation to try to get a few clickworthy headlines for himself, playing into his own well publicized sibling issues, knowing it would be reported on.

Apparently Harry is set to make a ‘huge’ announcement, is it the money donation or something else.

Are the British public supposed to be waiting with bated breath 🥱🥱🥱.

Yes, we are! He's really so Very Important.
Remember we're just the plebs who ought to pay for his security, on his terms, as and when, and bow and curtsey when necessary.

Agreed. There was no reason for him to discuss the winner's sibling at all – the focus should've remained on the winner's achievements. He's not entirely dumb – he knows any sibling comment would be picked up.

bluegreygreen · 09/09/2025 11:39

Exactly - focus on this young man's achievements.

The fact it wasn't a sincere question (and just aiming for a soundbite) is obvious by his response to the boy's answer. Anyone just 'having a conversation' would have been pleased to hear that the brothers 'get on fine', and not need to make a snarky comment about siblings.

KatherineParr · 09/09/2025 11:40

Is it just me or is the reaction to Harry's sibling comments quite muted? I know the Daily Mail reported on it but there seems less discussion on forums etc
