How can Harry be so deluded?

HiRen · 04/06/2025 17:38

The paranoia deepens

I don't really know what to conclude from this other than that Harry must feel the victim of a deep state conspiracy. Being a spoilt brat, and not understanding that he's there to serve his country rather than the country being there to serve him, can't help. Even if he did fear strategic delays, why would he jump to the conclusion that specific individuals have it in for him, rather than that there's a bigger picture to consider?

I just can't fathom the depths of misery and confusion he must experience on a daily basis. He must think his whole life was a lie until he met Meghan. I really do think things with Harry are much worse than they seem. Which puts an entirely different, and much darker, gloss on all of Meghan's utterings of her era of joy.

I honestly wouldn't want to be in their orbit. And I wonder whether those who remain in their orbit are desperate, whether as friends or employees. They're too much.

Harry and Meghan explored changing surname to Spencer amid children’s passport delays

Exclusive: source says couple feared unexplained wait was due to king’s opposition to their children bearing HRH title

Possibly not, there is/was a video of William ‘dad dancing’ somewhere. But no way was it ass excruciating as the Sussexes.

William was dad dancing at a Taylor Swift concert with his children there - to a song called "Shake it Off". All of the crowd were doing the same. It was an entirely appropriate dance, to an appropriate song, at an appropriate time and place.

He also didn't film it and release it on his IG.

Vespanest · 06/06/2025 19:23

I think Harry should be very afraid, if he cannot bring the money in that's needed and videos generate money through attention I can see Meghan having a shitload of material from the past nine years

Uricon2 · 06/06/2025 19:24

I'll say it again, if M&H wanted to lark about dancing waiting for her to go into labour, good for them. There is nothing offensive about it.

The problem arises when this couple who say they want privacy (they don't, they want to control the Press and it isn't going to happen) put a private moment out for the gaze of the entire world. They can't be surprised if they then get attention and some of it is not to their liking.

Diana apparently used to dance around KP to her favourite music. Ever seen any footage?

My No 2 is Charles II who appeared to be able to mock himself and sounds like a right laugh.

ETA his umpteen times great grandson (Diana's side) Harry would do well to have a little read up about him.

Edited

I think that of that period I'd probably have to select Charles' cousin Rupert of the Rhine: he was so amazingly talented.

Yes. You’d think he’d have learnt from her mistake but I think he’s too thick to learn much of anything. I wish he’d just disappear and live a quiet life.

just stop complaining you idiot! Think of the amazing privilege you actually have and enjoy what you’ve got.

This 100%. He's always wanted more but in reality, I'm sure he has the better deal that William. He's free as a bird by comparison, especially now that W has issue.

Oh yes, that’s her pension right there.

Harry is tethered to a narcissist in a country that is just about to throw him out, he is fast running out of money and options - and think his life is ‘better’?? Odd

Edward ex of His Majesties Really Useful Group Marine Corp has a whole chest of ironmongery for what exactly - there is an army term for that a "Walt".

So does Harry, as it happens. He wears 4 medals - one Afghan Campaign medal, and all the other ones are the same as Edward’s.

Off topic: Mumsnet, please please please reinstate the laughing emoji!

It is sorely needed for all the witty posts that have me chuckling in the corner with my co-workers side-eyeing me and thinking...she's lost it!

Uricon2 · 06/06/2025 19:41

We need the laughing react emoji. It is our Birthright. The High Court awaits, MNHQ.😂

ETA I pity the fools who've spoiled it for the rest of us by using it sarcastically.

HonoriaBulstrode · 06/06/2025 19:45

Maybe that’s where the money is for Meghan, she certainly isn’t going to get a Dior contract after that vulgar and crude spectacle for the masses.

Camilla wore Dior on the state visit to France. M isn't going to be the face of any company that has aspirations to do business with genuine royalty.

HonoriaBulstrode · 06/06/2025 19:54

....Charles II who appeared to be able to mock himself and sounds like a right laugh.

I think Charles II is underrated.

He did a pretty good job of bringing the country back together, after the divisions of the previous couple of decades.

He didn't believe in conspiracy theories.

He wasn't faithful to his wife, but he was loyal to her - there were times when he could have thrown her under the bus without anyone raising much of an eyebrow, and he didn't.

William of Orange - No. He wanted the English Crown so he could have access to English resoures for his war with France - which he promptly took us into.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 06/06/2025 20:37

Different William of Orange, I suspect. The one I admire was aka William the Silent, the Stadtholder William I, (1533–1584), not the Stadtholder William III, (1650–1702), who became King of England by conquest and was one of the Williams we had on the throne whom I mentioned as having been not much cop.

Sorry for the confusion: my fault entirely. I'd forgotten that William III of England was also "of Orange", because I think of him as "that notable King Williamandmary"

CathyorClaire · 06/06/2025 20:39

Possibly the one where he's on yet another a lad's ski-ing holiday and jigging away awkwardly to some ditty by the name of 'I got 5 on it'?

TBF it was filmed long range on some tosser's fellow party goer's phone and he had no say in it being uploaded.

Vespanest · 06/06/2025 20:47

There was the William dancing and Harry not being impressed the chelsy joining in to annoy Harry even more. I think the Diana concert.

Agreed - so many posts on here I’ve gone to use it and poof it’s not there 😭

Has anyone else heard something about MM posting a fuck you message in the early hours and then deleting it?

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 06/06/2025 20:59

I think we had the four emojis for less than a year. Before that we just had the "like" button, and nobody seemed to feel deprived!

Oh yes, I agree with you about William the Silent.

I think of him as "that notable King Williamandmary"

Mary II, probably the most overlooked sovereign in English history.

I've seen that, yes.

If real, a bit of a blink and you miss it moment.

There were quite a few posters on X sharing it but honestly because of what AI is able to do, it takes a lot for me to believe things like that.

I'm actually fummin.

I have never abused the thing in the way described and now have no way other than pointless and probably multiple post wasting quoting to show my appreciation of a witticism 😡

RandyRedHumpback · 06/06/2025 21:10

Cheers ladies. Yes I have only seen it on various media that I don't quite trust. As you say, AI can create very realistic images.
