The royal family

How can Harry be so deluded?

1000 replies

HiRen · 04/06/2025 17:38

The paranoia deepens

I don't really know what to conclude from this other than that Harry must feel the victim of a deep state conspiracy. Being a spoilt brat, and not understanding that he's there to serve his country rather than the country being there to serve him, can't help. Even if he did fear strategic delays, why would he jump to the conclusion that specific individuals have it in for him, rather than that there's a bigger picture to consider?

I just can't fathom the depths of misery and confusion he must experience on a daily basis. He must think his whole life was a lie until he met Meghan. I really do think things with Harry are much worse than they seem. Which puts an entirely different, and much darker, gloss on all of Meghan's utterings of her era of joy.

I honestly wouldn't want to be in their orbit. And I wonder whether those who remain in their orbit are desperate, whether as friends or employees. They're too much.

Harry and Meghan explored changing surname to Spencer amid children’s passport delays

Apparently before he met Meghan he spent most of his day playing video games.

And, according to Harry, he spends plenty of time consuming magic mushrooms, hallucinogenics and has regular spiffs of weed in the garden.

The situation? Not feeling comfortable in the UK or being part of the royal family. Not wanting to bring up children in that environment. Edward VIII wasn't too comfortable with it either, which was why he abdicated. It's not too much of a stretch to realise that some people just can't, or won't, hack certain things. The alternative may be tricky, but sometimes you've just got to go.

He was very comfortable in Nazi Germany. Not everyone who leaves the RF has good intentions.

What a waste of a life. At least he has "more freedom" to smoke his spliffs now.

But he didn’t want to leave . Not sure how many times this has to be said ! He and Meghan most certainly wanted the perks but also wanted to use their position/ titles to make money !

"Most certainly wanted the perks"?? Do you know them intimately? Hyperbole much? Okay I'm out of questions. Just can't accept the opinion of anyone who thinks it is "most certainly". Not even the moon landings were certain.

You think the moon landings weren't certain?!

Of course. He wanted to remain royal, just not with the responsibilities, or being a step behind his brother.

Absolutely! There's a whole film about it.

IsoldeWagner · 11/06/2025 16:53

Well. There are "whole films" about all sorts of things. It doesn't mean that the films are true.

Well they told us themselves on Sussexrroyal.com when they announced their “progressive new roles”:

As working members of the Royal Family, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain dedicated to maximising Her Majesty’s legacy both in the UK and throughout the Commonwealth. They will continue to proudly do so by supporting their patronages and carrying out works for The Monarchy within the UK or abroad, as called upon….

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will continue to use Frogmore Cottage – with the permission of Her Majesty The Queen – as their official residence as they continue to support the Monarchy.

Given what they’ve done since, and their penchant for red carpets, awards ceremonies and foreign “tours” I think it’s fairly likely the glamorous events and designer gowns were principally what they had mind while carrying out “works” for the Monarchy here too.

Thedom · 11/06/2025 16:59

Exactly Serenster.

Plus Harry went to court to try to retain one of his RF perks.

It would create issues. I hope I live to see it!

From attacking the mother "complicated cancer narrative" to attacking her first born child. Hoping for issues.

Wow....just wow.

There is truly no low that is too low for some.

IsoldeWagner · 11/06/2025 17:03

Exactly, @Serenster . They're like ultra royals. All the privilege and status, none of the work and responsibility..

I agree. Especially a child 😢

rayofhope75 · 11/06/2025 17:10

Attacking any child is not what these threads are for or does it depend on whom the child is. There wasn’t this outrage when a poster was trying to insinuate that Archie had special needs. Perhaps the same rule should apply to everyone.

There was outrage. Some of us were very clear on that. I'm amazed you didn't read those posts. She was criticised in no uncertain terms, but you somehow didn't see that?

DipsyDee · 11/06/2025 17:19

sunnywithtsunamis · 11/06/2025 14:22

Okay - here goes:

*1 I don't see this as about winning or losing on either side. The situation wasn't tenable for Harry and Meghan, so they got out. Good decision I think. No-one won. Things just changed.

On reconciliation - Harry's family will always be his family. He may want his children (innocent parties in this) to maintain ties with the royal family.

Prince Charles (sorry the King) is pretty ill. Harry may want closure regardless of the relationship. Impending death focuses the mind.

*2 You can both fight and use the press, as in "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer". Diana learnt how to do this. If she hadn't have used the press the way she did, she would have come across as a complete victim. Diana fought back by using her enemies. Clever girl. I think it's called a symbiotic relationship.

So Harry should carry on and get the bastards...

PS I'm not a royalist, just very glad I wasn't born HRH

On the contrary I think Harry and Megan definitely wanted to win

IsoldeWagner · 11/06/2025 17:21

Most definitely! With Harry it was all about getting what he wanted. He didn't seem to care if it was at the expense of others, and he still doesn't..

Well you don’t know them either but you still make pretty bold assumptions. Also by the very fact Megan used HRH despite being told not too would strongly suggest that yes they do want to retain the perks without the work. Let’s face it they are nothing without those royal links

Perhaps she will only be persuaded if there was "a whole film about it" 😂

IsoldeWagner · 11/06/2025 17:33

It's just baffling how anyone with any Republican views whatsoever would support someone as royal as Harry! So arrogant, entitled and determined to maintain a royal lifestyle.

They said so themselves. Part-time royals with all the privileges and
everything paid for but allowed to make their own money as well. The Queen said no so off they went in a strop

Well they complained Nott Cott and Frog Cott being too small and not getting married at Westminster Abbey, so they obviously thought they should be getting more perks than they actually did.....

Very grandiose. Wasn't St Paul's Cathedral also one of their wedding venue requests?

IsoldeWagner · 11/06/2025 17:45

It's all got to be top level royal for the ultra royal Sussexes!
