It's not good news for Meghan. The podcast by Meghan is out of the Spotify 100 in the US and the UK. With Apple it's not even in the top 200 chart.

I wonder if Harry is so ensconced in his hate bubble of newspapers and the rest of the royal family that he doesn't notice much else now? He's turning out to things but looking increasingly detached. At least the Duke of Windsor didn't have every image of his despondency all over the front pages.

Well women like you would love to see that happen wouldn’t you…..she was a successful actress, married a prince, started her own business and podcast and I’m sure if neither turn out to be very successful she will try something else…..I’m would be 100% sure she has achieved much much much more than you have or ever will

Meghan is the type of woman that if one venture is not very successful she will try another….I don’t think you understand that kind of mindset though do you…..as you are the opposite type of woman who just does nothing and loves to see others fail when they try😂😂

I think the whole world of merching, Instagram and product endorsement is alien to him, and he would consider it entirely beneath his 'dignity' as a prince of the realm. But that is the world he is in now.

To be fair, she was a supporting actress in a minor Netflix show, hardly a symbol of stardom. Marrying up isn’t exactly a career achievement, and most moms I know juggle a side hustle. She hasn't exactly nailed the role of royal, and using her kids for PR to boost her brand makes her come off more like a misguided influencer mom than a modern icon. She could have had and done so much, they blew it.

She has achieved a way more than most of the people on here and is still young enough to achieve a lot more

I think it’s the ‘marrying the prince’ bit that is possibly the element that seems to have incited such jealousy and hatred in people for her

Personally I am not in the slightest jealous of her marriage to Harry. I am irritated by the fake way she comes across, she presents as disingenuous, regularly contradicting herself. In the words of the legend that is Judge Judy - now there’s a woman I admire 😝…”if you tell the truth you don’t need to have a good memory”

@Hastentoadd largely I try not to. Sometimes unavoidable when they seem to be out there punting themselves all over media though. Fascinating, but in a rubbernecking a car crash sense.

To get back to the podcast and away from the increasingly desperate arm waving attempts at a derail, I wonder if she's going to give up the whole podcasting thing now that this one has flopped? The thing about podcasting is that anyone can make a podcast, in the sense that all you need is a laptop and a headset. But not anyone can make a podcast which attracts a sustained audience.

In a saturated market, you have to something special to offer, and Meghan clearly doesn't. Ultimately the only really interesting thing about her is her royal connection, and she's blown that.

@IcedPurple didnt the last one flop too though? She seems dogged in her determination to appear relevant and/or likeable, yet unaware this is making her less so…

i thought she was great in Suits but she absolutely wasn’t well known.

I was already a big Suits fan and when it was announced that Harry was dating Meghan Markle an actress in Suits I had to Google her to check which actress she was.

The only actress with name recognition on that show at that time was Gina Torres.

I remember feeling very sorry for Meghan when it was announced she was giving up acting when she married - because she’d just had her first proper big break as an actress and was throwing away that momentum.

I thought her part was coming to an end anyway ? Also , the late Queen suggested she continued acting but Meghan wanted to hit the ground running !
