It's not good news for Meghan. The podcast by Meghan is out of the Spotify 100 in the US and the UK. With Apple it's not even in the top 200 chart.

But it’s likely that being able to use his wife’s bespoke delivery service and tweak Piers Morgan’s tail at the same time was too good an opportunity to miss. I can’t deny, it think it was a brilliant Machiavellian move if so. 🤣

But only if she still cares what Piers Morgan thinks, years after all this happened. Not at all the impression she seems to want to give, which is that she living her best and most authentic life, high above all that media grubbiness 🤷‍♀️

M grew up on Hollywood sets where everything is fake. She saw the actors between takes versus the final product. Lying is an accepted part and parcel of Hollywood. Actors who can't stand each other smile and pretend to be in love for the camera. After the Director calls cut the claws come out. That is M's foundational lived experience...that adults are fake.

So, M embellishing stories, centering herself, undercutting other women and aggressively clambering over everyone is standard operating practice for Hollywood. Sydney Sweeney called out the fake feminism in Hollywood and she is not the only one.
Sydney Sweeney is no fan of Hollywood girlbosses who ‘fake’ support for other women

Unfortunately for M, she has neither the talent nor temperament to make it to the A-list. A-listers model RF behavior...when was the last time Beyonce gave an interview or clapped back at someone? Beyonce actually produces a visually stunning, well-choreographed show and puts in the work to make money for herself and other people (dancers, backup singers, band, event crew, event location, stunt team, camera team, sound team, special effects team, etc.). In the face of people claiming that she faked her pregnancies, Beyonce remained completely silent...zero interviews. Without oxygen the story moves on, but silence requires far more self-discipline than speech.

By clapping back using Alex Beresford, M has foolishly given Piers Morgan oxygen and simultaneously put Alex in an awkward spot. Piers is happy at the story being dragged back into the spotlight so Piers can draw attention to M's "varied recollections" to his wider audience and dramatically play the victim with relish (Piers was fired at the right time to be an early entrant into Youtube TV and is making far more money with a greater global reach). Alex lives in the UK where high society still revolves around the Crown and at the top of the pile...well almost...is W. For life. It will be social death for the Beresfords to be in camp M under the reigns of KW5 then KG7.

Sydney Sweeney says, 'It’s very disheartening to see women tear other women down' as she blasts Hollywood's commitment to female empowerment. 'All of it is fake.'

Yes there was a row between Alex Beresford and Piers Morgan about MM. It proves that Meghan follows her publicity and has obviously " reached out" 🤮 to Alex after this. He posted his jam perhaps two weeks ago and only now it's emerging it is his wife's firm that is involved.

I mean to be fair it could have been him doing the reaching out. After the row on GMB I remember reading reports that he had ideas of being more than a weatherboy and trying his luck in the States. No idea how that panned out but haven’t seen anything of him since although I’m not very up on morning tv.

Treeleaf11 · 30/04/2025 14:14

Alex Beresford was on Celebrity Race across the World a year or 2 ago. Id never seen him on GMTV so didnt know who he was.

There is no doubt in my mind she wrote it. The pancake reference clinches it for me. A child thinking about their favourite food would say ice-cream. Or sausages. Pancakes is so unlikely, unless M said 'Pancakes are your favourite, aren't they?"

I think there’s an element of over analysis here. The crying over the letter was obviously ridiculous unless she weeps every time her children say “love you”. And I’d imagine she knew what the letter said because I doubt there is any spontaneity in those interviews. But my DD (similar age to Lili I believe) was asked by a new staff member at her nursery what her favourite food was and she said rice. And that’s fairly accurate, it’s probably in her top 3 favourite foods. A child saying pancakes is hardly beyond belief.

He is full of his own importance. All these TV people are but seems to be a legend in his own lunchtime.

He won the last series of Celebrity Race Across The World. He was annoying, he partnered his dad, who was lovely. Our household did not want him to win and we were very disappointed!

Assuming it's this company, looks like it could be Evri after all! Or maybe she sprang for the "more theatrical in-person delivery moment" - that verbiage sounds right up Meghan's street:

Colford

Can you deliver my gifts?
Yes, we can handle the final mile logistics working with a trusted courier service or creating a more theatrical in-person delivery moment.

Yeah the website talks about bespoke delivery so I imagine you can ask for the delivery drivers to wear costumes. Weird though. Why would I want a butler to deliver my jam 😂

You're right. It isn't beyond belief. It is significant though that she is flogging pancake mix.

So this weeks podcast didn’t make it into the charts again, neither did her baby voice friends podcast.

I'm not surprised! But what does this mean for both of them , does it matter ? Does not being in the charts mean it isn't monetised (I'm thinking YouTube) Will Spotify drop them ?

@MrsLeonFarrell

“The Duchess of Sussex, picking roses and oranges in her enormous garden, wearing wellies for some reason.”

Well Catherine was wearing boots yesterday ………

Was it the same wellies she wore when she paraded up and down that London street hoping to be photographed by the press?

So that everyone knows it’s Royal Jam.

I’m waiting for the collab with Bezos. They can rebrand the delivery vans to ‘Jamazon’.

Just caught up in this thread. California, especially the south, is in an extreme state of drought. Most people probably don't even own rain boots.

https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/california-drought-problem-20271547.php

I honestly thought the delivery service was a joke. It seems pretentious to me

Profhilodisaster · 30/04/2025 15:45

And surprisingly the wax jacket , wellies and jeans have appeared on her Shopmy.

Spotify dropped the Sussexes some time ago.

That's why Meghan is having to resort to an obscure platform like Lemonada.

I think she should just give up on the whole podcast thing. She clearly has no interest or aptitude. As we've discussed above, making a podcast is easy but making one that is popular and profitable is not. She doesn't seem to have any original ideas and is a terrible interviewer so I can't see her suddenly coming up with a great podcast.

Edited

Can anyone explain why she appears to copy whatever Catherine wears ?
She also had clothing v similar to the Wales children on her page .
She appears to have become very British in her tastes .
I thought she was desperate to leave the U K behind .
its as if she really can’t tear herself away from the RF .
It would freak me out if my sister in law copied my clothes etc.
I just can’t work it out , I thought that California was her dream .

Apparently that’s not even her garden. Someone on X said it was the San Ysidro ranch and a quick google by me suggests they are correct. Why does no one call her out for this shit?

No way! I was thinking in fairness she had a lush garden but it’s not hers ? Everything about her is fake.

CodandChipz · 30/04/2025 17:42

Myself and teenager have been talking about a few memories this week…
when she sprayed water on me on a day out and my crotch was soaking and it looked like I’d wet myself
when we got nits a week before lockdown so I’d cancelled the hairdresser and our hair was terrible for months, and her scratching in school.
how dirty the child minders sons ears always were.

is that the kind of memories she’s emailing or is it going to be - remember when you made jam with momma, when you watered the garden with momma, when you told momma she was the best mommy ever…. I find the things they remember and the stories they like are the ridiculous stuff.

My DD also loves hearing amusing episodes from my childhood and teenager-hood, - my two-year old brother weeing on a lavender bush so it died, me being temporarily banned from my best friend's house because I got drunk at a party and threw up in the garden, me at five asking my dad if a man had ever had a baby, my granny smacking my brother 'because it's good for him'. Meghan can't keep her story straight and takes herself too seriously so stories of this sort wouldn't be a possibility.

What's interesting about her approach is that she totally controls the narrative. No happy exchange like yours @codandchipz, or requests from them. Given what we know about her, it's disturbing that she's controlling them 10+ years hence.

I wouldn't have expected it to, @Thedom
To borrow the domino analogy again, once they start toppling it can be almost impossible to reverse the effect, so it's probably now just a case of waiting to see what the next failed project will be
