It's not good news for Meghan. The podcast by Meghan is out of the Spotify 100 in the US and the UK. With Apple it's not even in the top 200 chart.

Interesting that publishing a letter from your child is ok for her, but when her own father did it she sued. Is it a gross invasion of privacy and breach of copyright, or isn't it?

Some of us wonder if the kids actually had anything to do with that letter at all, but otherwise it's a good point - especially as they're not old enough to give proper consent

I doubt that would matter much to their mum though ...

I went out this morning at 6ish wearing a t shirt, it was about 8 degrees and I wasn't cold, she must be hot in a Barbour and wellies .

It’s so obviously a performance. I was in Kensington high street a few weeks ago and I remembered the photos of her shopping there in wellies. That was so ridiculous.

ThePoshUns · 30/04/2025 10:06

It’s 22 degrees in monteshitshow

TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis · 30/04/2025 10:08

I looked it up, and it's forecast to be 18 degrees in Montecito this morning. 7 degrees colder than here.

Hmm definitely wax jacket weather 🙄

I think she believes herself.

I agree. She changes the objective facts and then actually believes the changes as "her truth". Her husband does the same thing.

What's interesting is that when she was in Suits when the original anecdote was shared, she was clearly on a high - confident and self depreciating, laughing at herself in the security that it didn't matter if she was foolish back then because she is the star now. The current Meghan appears to be awash with insecurity, and that's where the embellishment comes from. She has to change the story so that Yasmeen is centering Meghan, seeing Meghan, Meghan was a courageous 13 year old and is the wonderful human being she is now, but really it was always innate in her, nobody taught her.

I've noticed that she often wears clothes that I would find too hot for the weather. Maybe she feels the cold?

RandyRedHumpback · 30/04/2025 10:22

Unless the wellies photo is time stamped, it might just be from a library of past photos she uses when she wants to make a point.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 30/04/2025 11:04

She is a complete fantasist, the constant lies, people dancing in the streets in Africa, the Yasmeen Bleeth tall story to name but two, it’s just not the behaviour of a normal balanced, secure person. I’ve listened to that awful podcast with her equally dreadful friend, I have never heard such vomit inducing, self congratulatory, sycophantic nonsense. Summary of the podcast so no one else has to endure it is that Meghan is the best person who had ever walked planet earth, like ever, the end.

HonoriaBulstrode · 30/04/2025 11:06

I just saw a video of her on X and not only is she wearing wellies but also a Barbour type jacket. Isn’t it really warm in California now? There’s no way that is an appropriate thing to wear. She really is trying to look British.

If she's really trying to look British the Barbour needs to be ancient and falling apart. Have you seen the one the King wears?

RandyRedHumpback · 30/04/2025 09:24

You're kidding?! The infamous weatherman off GMB? So Meghan and he were in it together? And now favours for his wife!

Cannot wait for Piers Morgan's head to explode over this 😂

Yes there was a row between Alex Beresford and Piers Morgan about MM. It proves that Meghan follows her publicity and has obviously " reached out" 🤮 to Alex after this. He posted his jam perhaps two weeks ago and only now it's emerging it is his wife's firm that is involved.

I know Meghan struggles to get the true A listers interested these days but did she really send her jam to an ITV weatherman 😬

That’s quite the journey from collaborating with Oprah (40+M followers), Netflix (22M followers) and Spotify (20M followers) to hoping an ITV weatherman (200k followers) will post a photo of your jam. Meghan has managed this in just 5 years.

Exactly! Plus the wellies should be mucky.

tattychicken · 30/04/2025 13:10

I think she wrote the letter herself. The "love, love, love your hugs" and the "blue, blue, blue eyes " are too similar.

HiRen · 30/04/2025 13:20

Surely something has got lost in translation with the butler thing?

"White glove delivery", which is normally for furniture and flower arrangements and the like, just means someone in a van, wearing normal clothes and perhaps a uniform of logo-ed polo shirt and slacks, who will actually bring the item into your home without ruining your carpets, install the item wherever you ask for it to go, take the packaging away with them. There are no actual white gloves involved! Surely these jam jars aren't really being delivered by gloved people?

There is no doubt in my mind she wrote it. The pancake reference clinches it for me. A child thinking about their favourite food would say ice-cream. Or sausages. Pancakes is so unlikely, unless M said 'Pancakes are your favourite, aren't they?"

HiRen · 30/04/2025 13:34

Surely that's just artistic licence? Like, everyone knows that a Big Mac doesn't actually look like the adverts?

I just can't credit it. This is beyond "style and no substance". It's a joke, has to be!

HiRen · 30/04/2025 13:38

Assuming it's this company, looks like it could be Evri after all! Or maybe she sprang for the "more theatrical in-person delivery moment" - that verbiage sounds right up Meghan's street:

Colford

Can you deliver my gifts?
Yes, we can handle the final mile logistics working with a trusted courier service or creating a more theatrical in-person delivery moment.

BunnyLake · 30/04/2025 13:40

Why is it that every single thing Meghan is involved with has to include copious amounts of gushing adoration towards her? No emotionally stable woman in their forties would need or want this much gush heaped on them relentlessly, but she can’t be sated.

I have watched snippets of that podcast (not sure who was turning my stomach more out of the pair of them) and as per usual it came across as scripted and fake (not just the words but the facial expressions, the pauses, the eyes to the ceiling, it’s the same old same old every time). But I quite enjoy watching her as I find the fakery and by now, very obvious narcissism, fascinating. I particularly enjoy it when she glitches, fascinating stuff.

Serenster · 30/04/2025 13:45

Yes there was a row between Alex Beresford and Piers Morgan about MM. It proves that Meghan follows her publicity and has obviously " reached out" 🤮 to Alex after this. He posted his jam perhaps two weeks ago and only now it's emerging it is his wife's firm that is involved.

This appears to be all part of Meghan holding a grudge against Piers Morgan. Famously, after proactively seeking him out when she was looking to reposition herself as a UK celebrity then ghosting him the moment she met Harry, Piers has been a determined critic of Meghan’s. When he said on air following her Oprah interview that he didn’t believe most of her accusations, including that she was suicidal, Meghan formally complained to ITV about his remarks. Chris Ship, the royal editor of ITV News, tweeted that "Meghan raised concerns about how Piers Morgan's words affect the issue of mental health and what it might do to others contemplating suicide."

Piers later said he was pressured by ITV bosses to apologise Meghan for his opinion, which he refused to do. When Beresford, the weather presenter then took Piers to task on air for his continued criticism of Meghan (he said “I understand that you don’t like Meghan Markle, you’ve made it so clear a number of times on this programme, and I understand you’ve got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off. She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has but yet you continue to trash her …”), Piers stormed off stage and quit.

Who knows if Meghan has been in contact with Alex since? But it’s likely that being able to use his wife’s bespoke delivery service and tweak Piers Morgan’s tail at the same time was too good an opportunity to miss. I can’t deny, it think it was a brilliant Machiavellian move if so. 🤣

Profhilodisaster · 30/04/2025 13:51

@Serenster looks like they are still in touch

Confessions of a Female Founder fails to chart this week
Serenster · 30/04/2025 13:59

It’s good to remember I think how much power Meghan was holding back in 2021 following her Oprah interview - she likely would have got Piers Morgan fired for criticising her if he hadn’t walked, and she did get Sharon Osborne fired from her talk show in the US for saying she supported Piers expressing his views, which was cast as Sharon supporting racism.

Having the power to effectively cancel people who say things you don’t like must have gone to her head massively - how could it not?

The emails to your children things bothers me. My oldest is 19 and I can’t imagine presenting her with over 6k emails on her 18th birthday. She’d probably say errrr did you not have anything better to do followed by oh god that holiday we had when you’re banging on about magical times at the beach, I remember that, we stayed somewhere that smelt funny and you and Dad had a massive row.

It feels like trying to impose a narrative to me, one thing I’ve learned as mine have got older is that they experience childhood in their own way which is both sometimes lovely and sometimes very humbling

That is how it looks to me also, trying to impose a narrative. Needless to say, those emails (if they exist) will bear very little resemblance to the childhood that Archie and Lili actually will have experienced and remember. I suspect they are part of her 'receipts'.

foreverblowingbubbless · 30/04/2025 09:09

Meghan's jam now being delivered in the UK by butlers 😂😂. Hope mine is on its way . Honestly the word " barking" comes to mind.

Many years ago (I'm talking 50+) there was a margarine commercial on TV with the tagline "It puts a crown on your head" and a surprised family suddenly wearing sparkling diadems. I was CONVINCED that eating his stuff would have that effect and after much persuasion some was purchased. Needless to say I was v disappointed (it was also foul) For me, the jam/spread/raspberry liquid is actually being shown up as even more erstaz with such high flown "publicity" stunts.

Meghan has also bought into a rather spurious dream vision of royalty. We know the RF have staff, we know they're rich, but we actually really like things like the late Queens Tupperware and William and Kate watching Game of Thrones with a curry and George cheering on the Villa.
