It's not good news for Meghan. The podcast by Meghan is out of the Spotify 100 in the US and the UK. With Apple it's not even in the top 200 chart.

What was it about this week ?

It was about how wonderful she is. Same as the last really.

And that's what I also meant about the dominos ... she could pull off something akin to the Gettysburg Address and I doubt many would hear about it until afterwards now, because as the ratings clearly show, many have simply given up

Coincidentally, I’m in the middle of reading Snobs by Julian Fellows and have just read this line, describing a new It girl: “The seductive element of being pursued by newshounds is that inevitably one starts to feel that if so many people are interested in one’s life, one’s life must ergo be interesting”.

I heard the first couple of minutes. Where Meghan randomly mentions that her blood type is A positive. A plus. And says that even her blood type is an over-achiever. So she believes she's an over-achiever. I think we can probably guess how the rest of this episode will go.

This I agree with. So I think I mentioned before the Reitman's hairdresser who retracted everything because M was very very powerful in the early days in the sense she had the ear of v important people and people were fearful of their jobs.

I think the sudden trajectory into fame by marrying Harry & then the multi multi $$$ deals just went to her head and I am not sure she had the where with all to cope with it or deal with it properly. She was a bit like a child in a sweet shop who thought she had everything she ever wanted drop into her lap. But over time , it is becoming obvious ( to viewers / listeners , if not people who will give her a job ) , that she just doesn't cut it as a printer / podcaster / I would say philanthropist but that seems to have been thrown into the long grass. But I think she still has enough people around her bolstering up her fabulosity she doesn't care. And I don't think she will until the money starts running out. Which it may or may not.

I think (on a lesser scale) most of us have someone - a spouse / partner / friend - someone we respect who will be honest with us when we make a mistake . & I am not sure (obviously I don't know) she has that. So I think she's in a bubble of people invite her to things and tell her she is beautiful , kind , clever , a beacon of light and motherhood without any hint of constructive criticism and she just believes it. I reckon she's got a few years of this yet - until as I say the money starts running out ( which it may or may not - she seems nothing if not laser focussed on earning money. )

Just my thoughts.

It’s all about the brand she’s trying to flog: British-style shortbread cookie mix, tea, jam, and some pseudo-sophisticated French-style crepe mixture. She’s latched onto what she imagines is a British royal identity (whatever that even means) as her USP. Now she’s styling herself to resemble the Princess of Wales with her outfits. Funny how she made a point on her recent podcast about being married to Harry for seven years, just as Kate hits 14. It’s clear she’s trying to compete directly with her. Seems like she’s dropped the whole “I’m the next Diana” thing, now she just wants to be appear Kate like and wouldn’t mind being mistaken for actual royalty while she’s at it.

Of course she has the bestest blood ever! In the next episode Meghan reveals she pees liquid gold and her poop smells of freshly cut grass.

Ha ha ha - My Dh is A positive - I'm A negative - the only effect that has had on my life is that being Rhesus negative I had to have injections in my bottom whilst pregnant. She didn't really say her blood type was an overachiever? Well if she did maybe she does have a sense of humour. 😂

I had forgotten about that, isn’t it unnerving that Meghan wielded so much power at the time that she could bring someone down as big as Sharon Osbourne, I do remember Sharon being shaken up by the experience, it pretty much ended her career.

In 2021, after Morgan quit Good Morning Britain following a controversial rant about Markle, Osbourne defended the broadcaster, writing on X/Twitter: “@piersmorgan I am with you. I stand by you,” Osbourne tweeted. “People forget that you’re paid for your opinion and that you’re just speaking your truth.”

Just from that, I can see why the podcasts have failed, like wtf, what on earth is the reason she brought up blood groups????

'I was like.' Twice in that short excerpt. And then they both say 'Oh my gosh'. They sound like a couple of squealing teenage girls, not serious businesswomen. Or is this how serious businesswomen talk in California?

I know, it's so completely and utterly random, and so lame!

If you endured the JKL podcast, you can hear that they talk in really "ickle girl" vocal fry voices and, yes, the billionaire and the member of the BRF squeal like teenagers a lot while they chew on their word salad and self help manual bullshit. To be fair to MM, the tenor of JKL's voice is by far the worst of the two.
