Looks like William took George and Charlotte to see Taylor Swift for his birthday. Looks like Taylor was just as happy to meet them as they were to meet her.

You just can't help yourself can you?

I am not a royalist by any means, but why have you come on a lovey thread, showing cute pictures of a family having fun, while their grandad and mum are going through a horrific time with cancer and shitting all over it??

Disgusting behaviour.

@PrettyFlyforaMaiTai these are really cute pics! Thanks for posting 😁

Disagreeing with someone's politics in a respectful way isn't disgusting!
If I were to post a pic of Kim Jong Un and his daughter at a concert and captioned it with 'cute pics of the great leader' or something, I can't then turn round and complain about people who would (rightly) post negative comments.
A) I think we should become a republic. B) On a personal level I hope Charles and Kate recover from their illnesses and aren't in pain. I'm sure they will due to having the best private care that most people can't afford. It's not disgusting to think A) because of B.)

I like prince louis as he is always doing something naughty.
Its nice to see that not all royals are perfect in the spotlight.

I think the evidence is in the photo.....and every photo of them having amazing opportunities not open to other children whose parents work for a living doing real jobs.

That's not the same. However, I suspect you know that.
Espousing republican sentiments is fine, but attacking the suspected behaviour of young children as part of that is unpleasant.

PadstowGirl · 22/06/2024 16:35

Sweet photo 😊.
Sad that people are criticising William, I think he has had a pretty hard time of recently given that he has lost his grandparents, he is estranged from his brother and his father and wife are ill.
He has hardly stopped for breath this month.
Give him a break.

Yousay55 · 22/06/2024 16:35

I’m so jealous!! (Of meeting Taylor that is)

Doteycat · 22/06/2024 16:35

Charlotte in a sparkly dress. How bloody cute. And i think it also speaks volumes dads there without mum. I mean Kate would be there if she could woudlnt she. Who wouldnt.
If you are as privelaged as they are and you still cant make it, i reckon your pretty sick. Which is shit. No matter who you are.
And she still had her sparkly swifty dress. Not for the paps. For herself. Like all the other swiftys.

I wonder if this indicates William is ready to crack on with some actual work. He has only done 9 engagements so far in June, according to the Court Circular, yet he has the time/energy/fitness to leverage his position as Prince of Wales to get prime tickets to an England football match and now Taylor Swift (so crowds clearly not an issue with Kates treatment and exposure risk). William is next in line to the throne, when will we demand more of him? It's time for him to step up, the King (who is battling cancer at 70+) is doing more than him. Wheeling his cute kids out for a photo op to make us forget his laziness is becoming wearing.

I think he's president of the FA so going to football is work I bet it chokes you that he isn't "Down pit.

Kim Jong Un is not the equivalent to members of a Constitutional Monarchy in a pluralist democracy.

I'm not attacking children though am I?
I'm stating that they have an abundance of opportunity to do things no other children will be able to do, not because of their parents' talents, but because of who their parents are.
Let's agree to disagree on the exact definition of the word 'spoilt.'

DelectableMe · 22/06/2024 16:37

Nan! 😂

HadMeABlast · 22/06/2024 16:37

Did they play Karma?

An outstandingly pointed opening lyric if I recall.

Yes you are. You're saying they're "spoilt".

How sour!!

DelectableMe · 22/06/2024 16:38

Leave young children out of it. They're not part of that discussion.

And that's not the point I'm making, as you well know.
Replace Kim Jong with Donald Trump, Macron, Farage, or any other politician you don't like.....

Gorgonemilezola · 22/06/2024 16:39

SummaLuvin, Harry in his book says both he and William did far more work than was ever published - he was having a pop at Princess Anne, the royal who generally has the most appointments and suggesting that everything she does is in the court circular, while Harry and William did many visits to charities and such which were never publicised

Sweet pics! They look so thrilled.

Charlotte is the image of Sarah Chatto as a child.

I’ve been trying to work out who she reminded me of and that’s absolutely who it is!

Then the whole argument falls apart because there is no political comparison.

Sparsely · 22/06/2024 16:40

To a royal, this is work. It's PR for product Windsor. Nothing wrong with that and it's very successful. A lot of problems with the older royals were they weren't relatable. But William seems to be able to get around that, with things like this.

StaunchMomma · 22/06/2024 16:41

What I will never understand is why people care so much.

They are just children attending a concert with Dad.

Lovely but no more special than every other child or parent in attendance, IMO.

It's one thing to support the monarchy and quite another to poor over photos of Kate's new dress etc.

It must be horrible for them to feel so constantly on show.

I think you are stating the obvious princes children get to meet Taylor swift shocker I mean nobody on this thread doesn't realise that these children are privileged.

'I'm not attacking children though am I?

So all the other children at Taylor Swift' s concerts are only there because of who their parents are - all the hundreds of thousands of them?
